Holiday Inn Beijing Airport Zone, an IHG Hotel

Limited transport to airport. Wasted my time waiting for their shuttle that never came.

wonderful stay, incredible friendly staff, very convenient transportation to airport.

Really no noise (traffic or construction ) you can have a good rest while wait for your flight.

It is a great hotel in terms condition and service. However, it is in a relative isolated location. Good for overnight stay before flying out or late arrival.

Close to airport. Not as good as expected

Overall it's a Holiday Inn. You'll get about what you'd expect. Beware of only very sporadic free shuttle service to the airport. They did, however, cover my taxi fair, after I refused their suggestion of waiting at the airport 3.5 HOURS for shuttle pickup. Not much in the local area, but also only a 5 minute walk from a subway station.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn during an overnight layover in Beijing. We weren't there for very long, so my perspective is limited. First things, the shuttle from the airport was free and perfectly on time. We waited where they told me to be and they picked us up exactly on time. It was very easy and efficient. Check-in was also very easy. The lady working the desk had good English and was very friendly. It was very quick and easy. I was traveling with friends and we had 3 rooms. The beds were normal Chinese hard beds. I've stayed in several Holiday Inns around the country and normally they have very nice soft beds...not this one. One of our rooms was very cold and never warmed up more than 17 degrees Celsius. One of our rooms was very hot and never cooled below 28 degrees Celsius. The last room was comfortable. The breakfast buffet was quite large and had plenty of Chinese and Western options including waffles and an omelet bar. Overall, it was fine. I felt like I paid more for a bigger Western chain and got the same quality as a mediocre Chinese hotel. But if you only speak English, you'll be glad you stayed here.

Near the airport but far from subway. Breakfast is good and room is good.

Was not pleased that the hotel shuttle was not available as advertised. Otherwise, the facilities were good.

Good location. Close to the airport. Friendly staff. Clean room but need some update. Restaurant's food must be improved on quality and quantity per serving.
