Holiday Inn Express Tianjin Dongli, an IHG Hotel

I nearly missed my flight because the staff didn't not allow me to go after I told them that I have paid my stay through Hotel.com. I told them that I want to make an international Call to hotels.com, they told me that they can't make international Call. They played an international joke on me. An international chain hotel could not make an international Call. UNACCEPTABLE!!! Luckily, I do speak Mandarin and I managed to leave the hotel in one pieces after speaking with their manager. Stayed there for 5 days and couldn't connect to room Wi-Fi . The lobby was filled with smokers. I strongly discourage you to stay there as it worst than staying in a hostel or Guesthouse.

poor location, most taxi drivers dont know where it is and not prefer driving to there at night

This hotel hada very friendly staff, very clean rooms, and 24 hour room service, although thet never had potatoes for breakfast. Located a short taxi ride to Ayala Mall and down town, Internet Cafe in the same building. I will return for next trip. My room also had a full size refridgerator.

I was planning on staying a month here but transfered after 1 week. The staff will try to get money from you by conveniently misplacing information such as receipts. We received several calls from the front desk in the first week asking for proof that we prepaid amoung other things. If you stay here, keep all your documention and confirmation numbers. The food is even worse.
