LIV Mackenzie Beach Suites

We're a family of 4 with two teenagers and stayed in a Sea View Family Suite at LIV Mackenzie Beach. It was exactly what we expected - clean, modern and nicely appointed. The hotel only just reopened in March 2023 after a major renovation. The wrap around balcony with direct beach views was a real plus. The air conditioning worked very well on hot days. Location was good - walkable to traditional restaurants plus more modern restaurants and beach bars along Mackenzie Beach. Also very close to Larnaca airport which is handy. The area is safe and the building is secure. Daily housekeeping was great. The housekeeper was very good about working around our variable daily schedule. If you're planning to get to Protaras and Ayia Napa, we suggest renting a car because they're a good 50-minute drive away. Would stay at LIV again. Recommend.

A new, well decorated property. The bed was very comfortable and good amenities in the kitchen. Its about a 45 walk to the main town/beach area along the seafront but is very close to airport.

Honestly, being a frequent traveler, this hotel was quite basic and pricy for what it was. Pros: Central location, just by the beach and many nice lounges and restaurants around. Also newly renovated rooms with a modern twist. Bed was comfy too. Cons: A LOT of noise during the night - during the weekend loud music went all till the early morning. We could use the sun beds and the gym nearby the hotel, but had to pay an additional fee for this (did not anticipate this for this standard of a hotel). Staff OK friendly but not very service minded. I would not stay here again.
