Tanoa Skylodge Hotel

Good location but a bit tired. Staff in bar area were excellent. Breakfast was very light on. Airport shuttle was appreciated

Jim at reception was great after the mix up of their airport pick up didn't pick us up.

Close to the airport and friendly staff. But room linen (bath towels) had stains and this made me very comfortable using them. I would probably stay there again but just for a transit.

We knew it would not be a luxury hotel, but we didn't expect it to be so basic. Close to airport, great staff, rooms were very clean, but no frills and restaurant offered very limited choices on the menu. We were only there for one day, so it served our purpose.

The check in time on Expedia said 1pm. It is actually 2pm and they didn't have a room available until 2:15pm. The hotel is convenient to the airport and on a main street with plenty of parking and good access to restaurants. They have a restaurant at the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. Staff were very nice.

On Airport arrival transfer pick up I was notified I would be staying at the Tanoa International Hotel not the Skylodge due to maintenance at the Skylodge and a TV film crew occupyiing the premisses.

This property suited our needs just fine. We wanted something close to the airport, with pickup, as we arrived late. The rooms were old and basic and the grout in the shower should have been bleached if not replaced! The free Continental breakfast was adequate and there's a nice dining room. This is not a destination hotel but the staff were helpful and friendly. We left next morning on a cruise and they phoned to make sure we were being picked up.

I had been calling for past 2 days for early Check in.. they take my number stating they will call me as soon as the room is available. I get a call hour before the check in that they are running late and I can check in at 3pm instead of 2pm. I had a long flight for 10 hours and all I wanted was to get my room and rest. Over all staff are very friendly but poor service from the hotel owner.. needs to provide more towels, they don’t carry any extra. If you ask for more towels then they need to wash your and then give it to you.

I would have like confirmation on booking from hotel. I booked this place as they provide airport transfers, however lack of communication meant I needed to make my own way to hotel.

It was convenient to the airport. we were only there a very short time.
