Hampton by Hilton Munich Airport South

A very nice hotel with a great breakfast buffet, and very conveniently located near the airport. The airport shuttle bus gets you to the airport in 15 minutes for 6 euros each. The ride from the airport to the hotel is free.

I start by stating that the hotel was excellent in everything they offered. That stated, we booked a hotel with shuttle service from the airport, only to find out that the shuttle doesn't run from 11 AM until 5 PM (I'm guessing at exact hours). We arrived at the airport at 12 noon and took a taxi to the hotel--30 euros, thank you. There was no on-site restaurant at the hotel between the hours of 10 AM and 4:30 PM, and no restaurant within a 25-minute walking distance open between those hours. We booked a return shuttle from the Hampton at 6 euros per person for the next morning. In other words, we paid 45 euros (with tip) extra for transportation to a hotel that offered no on-site food between 10 AM and 4:30 PM and no food within walking distance. I wouldn't state that advertising was false--just incomplete. If none of this bothers or affects you, then by all means, this is a very clean, friendly, modern hotel.

This is a convenient hotel for MUC airport. Our room faced the parking lot. This was not a problem as we were staying to catch a flight out. The only issue with facing the parking lot is noise from customers arriving at all hours, IF the window is open. Friendly staff, nice room. Good breakfast fast. Frequent bus service to MUC.

One night stay near the airport in a family (connecting) roon. Everything was wonderful. The only improvement I can suggest is to add more coffee machines to the breakfast dining area.

Excellent stay. Nice bar, simple food menu but very nice and was convenient for the airport.

Initial room at checkin was not cleaned (7pm). New room was immediately assigned. Hotel was good for airport transition.

The hotel was just what we needed, after 8 days in Japan! The rooms were very large and comfortable with a cozy atmosphere. The restaurant had a delicious variety of food for a good hearty breakfast. The shuttle running to and from the airport made it very convenient.

We stayed here so that we would be close to the airport for our flight. It was a fabulous hotel. The only "complaint" we have is that there were no scrambled eggs for breakfast in the morning!!

A great place to stay for Oktoberfest. Just a simple bus ride and train away from the festival. A perfect place to stay if you want to be away from the city during the night but easy enough to travel to the party.

Great breakfast, nice design. Farther from airport than indicated and the “free shuttle” was impossible to use or figure out. Taxi ended up being about 30 euros.
