Dolce by Wyndham Athens Attica Riviera

Overall pleasant and convenient to to the airport for an early morning island hop flight, but property definitely needs updating. Restaurant service was very pleasant but extremely slow. On the positive side, very comfy king bed, good hvac, excellent rain head shower, nice views of the water.

Nice escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. Conveniently located to the airport and near by restaurants. Nice pool, bar, restaurants and beach.

The stay was convenient for one night. The service at the front desk was a little disappointing we booked a transportation to get to our flight in the morning and they didn’t have it in the system. The gentleman at the desk was supposed to write the room number down but his conversation was more important. The bartenders at the pool seemed very annoyed to serve us. Overall cleanliness of the room was great and it was a quiet and safe stay.

The hotel has a ton of potential, great location, close to the airport and really beautiful surroundings. The room had a cockroach in one bathroom, a trail of ants in the other, and a cat lounging on the balcony when we arrived. The terrace had water drainage issues, so the pooled water meant water got into our room. The room service we ordered was the worst meal we had in Greece during a 5 week stay. It tasted like they heated up a freezer meal.

Bad stay start to finish. The room wasn’t ready, so we waited for 2 hours. They gave us keys that didn’t work, so we had to go back to the lobby and get new ones. Gym is awful; not maintained at all and equipment is broken. No shuttle to the airport, so they arranged a 50 euro cab ride to go 3.3 miles.

Positives: Dolce Windham Athens offers a convenient location close to the airport, which is a significant plus for travelers. Despite its proximity to the airport, the hotel is surprisingly quiet, with no noticeable airplane noise disrupting the stay. The main hotel building itself presents well, appearing clean and well-maintained. Additionally, the room air conditioning worked efficiently, providing a comfortable environment, and the property offers a pleasant view. Negatives: Unfortunately, there were several areas where the hotel fell short. Upon entering the room, I noticed a footprint on the ceiling and splotches of dead mosquitoes on the walls, which detracted from the overall cleanliness. There was also visible damage to the wall caused by the entrance door, and one side of a cabinet was detached. The shower drained very slowly, causing inconvenience. Furthermore, a plank of wood near the pool area was uplifted, posing a potential safety hazard. Overall Impression: While Dolce has its strengths, particularly in terms of location and general aesthetics, attention to detail and maintenance needs improvement. Addressing these issues would significantly enhance the guest experience.

Close proximity to airport.

After reading all the reviews.. mostly all negative. I gave it ago. My family stayed here for 4 nights. The front desk staff were incredibly rude. Did not give any information about the property. We had to figure it out on our own. The restaurant staff were not friendly and almost impossible to get waited on. We left the property for our meals and found that most local restaurants will gone free transfer to and from the resort. The property itself is very run down. Our room was clean on the surface but could use a deep clean as all the vents were gross and covered with cobwebs. I would not stay here again as there are better options for the price we paid.

The stay was okay. It was just one night. We had to make a flight the next day and this hotel was convenient to the airport. It is a very busy conference hotel. Lots of people and it is very loud. We got there late and the dinner choices were not good. The breakfast buffet had plenty of choices and was okay. Unless I was attending a conference I would not stay here again.
