Crossway Parklane Airport Hotel Chennai

I needed an airport hotel and booked the closest one possible. I requested the airport shuttle via the number on the hotel's website but didn't receive a response. The airport provided a return shuttle to the airport the next day.

4star India put 2 star europa WiFi no good reception desk help book taxi 300 rp to airport metro got taxi to Chennai cricket ground 600 rp. Seam to over book room had to wait 90mins for room.

Great pick up and drop off from airport. Room and cleanliness not the best.

I stayed at the hotel for night and it was instant regret. My check in was at 12 at noon and my rooms weren’t even ready at 150pm after long flight not trying to deal with it so I let that go. Get into the room the place has water damage on the baseboards, very dingy room the list goes on. I wouldn’t recommend staying there if I was youkmmm looking it The reviews are not accurate at all !!

The rooms were dirty and falling apart. I did receive an upgrade to a bigger room. But it was falling apart at the walls. My colleague had a smaller room. But it was keep up better. Overall fine place to stay for the night and get to airport quickly in the morning.

Stayed overnight before morning flight. Driver and service staff were very professional and courteous. We left a bag in the room and when we found out the driver took us back from the airport and the bag was waiting for us. It's less than 15 minutes from the airport. Rooms were new, modern, clean and comfortable.

I stayed at Parkway Crosslane a couple of times in the past and on both occasions it was just to sleep. At the time I found the breakfast not exceptional but good and the room on the ground fairly ok. The last experience was disappointing. I checked in earlier to pick up someone from the airport. I was shown to a room on the 2nd floor. The entire corridor had a dank odor of some cleaning agent. The room smelled similar, but the toilet had a strong sewage smell. The staff moved me to a room on the 1st floor that didn’t have the problem. The breakfast was very disappointing - most of food was cold. It was unfortunate because it didn’t taste any worse than the previous two times. The coffee from the dispenser, that the owner insists on handling personally, was very watery. The staff while sporadically helpful, tend to get intimate and cross boundaries. The pickup driver asked me for cash at the airport toll while the hotel claims free pickup. While it wasn’t a large amount, the attitude was wrong. Overall the area on one side is slummy and this hotel is built on bad infrastructure and I personally would pass on this inconsistent experience until they sort out some management training and redo some foundational work.
