OK and perfect location for long transit time in Makassar. 3 min walking from the terminal.

Couldn't ask for a more convenient location. Clean and inexpensive. Some services were curtailed because of the pandemic. Good place for a rest between flights.

For what it was, it worked - I needed a place to stay for a quick overnight nap between flights, and this fit the bill. It was in the airport (a bit confusing to navigate to - when you exit, turn right and walk towards the KFC; follow the small signs for Departures in the odd, shop-filled hallway, and you'll see the door for the hotel), it was affordable, and the room door locked.
I used the room to briefly nap, charge devices, move around items in my luggage, and take a quick shower to feel a bit more human. Was it the sharpest, the cleanest, the most pleasant? No. Was it awful? Also no. It was completely fine for what I needed when I needed it - late at night, exhausted, after 30 hours of travel.

This hotel is perfect if you have a long layover in Makassar. It is a 2 min walk from the baggage carousel and there are some cheap takeaway food options for meals. Breakfast at the hotel is basic but very cheap. There is a shower in one corner, a cupboard style toilet in another and the basin is in the main room. It’s a tiny room but the bed is comfy and the sheets and towels were clean. The whole room could do with a good scrub but that’s the general feel of most budget hotels in Indonesia. I’d stay there again if I needed a transit hotel.

First, it's the only hotel at the airport, usually not much of an incentive to provide a quality product. However, I _really_ liked it. Their parent compay (Acorr? - something like that) clearly has a vision for Ibis. A lot of thought went into what they're providing. Like a Library/play area, "coin" laundry. They encourage you to use the stairs - most places hide them. The on-site restaurant was super tasty and a complete dinner was under US$3. It I had to complain about something, it's a little obscure to find the entrance. Go past the terminal AT STREET LEVEL. Watch for signage on your right.

If all you want is a sort of clean place to go to sleep for a couple of hours then this hotel might be okay. It’s very basic. Very.
Not unclean but then not really fully clean either.
Lots of people coming and going so lots of banging doors.
Like most of this chain tiny rooms. No where else on the floor to put more than maybe one suitcase and a backpack or two.
At the airport so saves a taxi ride to and from. Some food places at the airport open in the evening around the hotel.

Right by airport. Can unfortunately hear airport announcements in some rooms. Great for a multi hour layover in UPG
