My family and I have stayed at the D’prima Hotel 5 times and we keep coming back for the fantastic staff. The hotel is conveniently located near the airport and the rooms are perfect for big families like ours. What really sets this hotel apart is the amazing staff. Every single person, from the shuttle driver to the bellhop and restaurant servers to the front desk, is incredibly kind and helpful. They always go out of their way to make our stay comfortable. We've had some stressful trips with six kids and a lot of luggage, but the staff made it all so easy for us. If you're in Medan and need a place near the airport, I highly recommend staying here. The rooms are simple and clean, and the staff is simply amazing.

Stayed here one night before an early flight. It is only a 5 minute taxi ride to the airport. The hotel has a free shuttle but it only goes once every two hours so unless your flight coincides with the timing it's not much use. The hotel is very modern with all the facilities you would expect. Rooms are fairly small but clean and nicely furnished and for a short stay are absolutely fine. One thing I have never come across in a hotel before is the piped music played in the corridors - you could actually hear it from inside the room, only faintly but enough to be annoying! It did turn off around 10pm but then came back on at 6am.

It was alright. Bathroom was dirty when I went in - there was a big ball of hair in the toilet and also all of the towels were stained. Bed and room was fine. Gym was really small but had the basic requirements, except the AC was off when we went in so we had to turn it on ourselves. Airport shuttle that goes every two hours was quick and easy, but it’s a bit annoying that it’s every two hours instead of one.

This hotel was great for a quick stay from the airport. It was easy and friendly airport pickup and check-in. The breakfast buffet was pretty good. The room was clean and quiet. Overall, great place to stay!

Very over priced. Average hotel but convenient for airport. Terrible but expensive food. Poor facilities - the pool had a layer of scum and the gym was stuffy and lacked a/c. Smelly room and dated air conditioning. Decent bed and linen. Good size room. Wouldn’t recommend or go back. Better off staying closer to Medan

The room was clean and comfortable. Its really close to the airport.Check in and check out was smooth and easy. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Prime Plaza Kualanamu is a very good hotel to stay when travelling early morning due to it's proximity to the airport and its good installation (building) and good price. But unfortunately the checkin was confused and checkout at 6 am when many guests are going to the airport at the same time can result in delay while our room was being checked and taxi confusion. Breakfast was good at 6am with many choices though no service. No hair dryer in room.

Very close to airport so that made it convenient . A new hotel with large spacious rooms . There was a large conference being held there when we were there so the kitchen staff was under stress- some menu items not available .The internet was also ‘ under construction ‘ during our overnight stay . Luggage storage facilities very handy as we used this hotel as a transit between a couple of different locations - Bukit Lawang and Lake Toba .
