Habitat hotel is located in a quiet pedestrian street next to palazia vincenti bellini within walking distance of the best areas of Catania. The rooms are very large and luxurious with a minimalist decor , comfy bed and luxury bedding. The breakfast is excellent with a wide range of options. The best way to get to hotel from bus / rail stn. is by taxi ,do not rely on google maps to walk to hotel. The only problem I had was the hotel entrance is just a large closed door and the sign outside is very large but black metal which does not stand out against the wall ( I walked past it twice before noticing it)

this place is a scam, the day we arrived to the airport there were last min airline strikes for Italy, we asked to re-book for the next wkend, we sent the flight cancel conf and they said "no, not out problem, your problem"...this is where the mafia in Catania operate, if you like your money then don't give it to them, them will asume it and you, there are many better places and many better people to spend your money with, not these theives and crooks.

The hotel and parking are really hard to find. The area is noisy and the hot water was almost nonexistent. We also had ants in our bathroom. The breakfast was good and the staff was not nice.

Excellently located although a subtle sign makes it not the easiest to find.
Loved the modern room within an old building.
Breakfast was excellent and also had an evening meal which was great.
From a personal perspective didn't like bathroom set up of frosted glass and sink kind of in the bedroom. I was travelling with a female friend so made things slightly awkward!
Would recommend as a good choice in central Catania

Phenomenal breakfast! Rooms were clean and a good size. Staff helped arrange parking for us. It’s in a great part of town, good restaurants around. There’s a lot of noise and construction during the day so use the ear plugs they provide if you want to sleep in!

We had to leave very early for airport and they arranged a big bag of breakfast foods for us! So generous

Only stayed one night. Good location. Friendly staff who also helped with parking offsite. Had a bit of trouble finding it with google maps, but once that got sorted, it was fine. The room I had was right next to reception so was a bit noisy, but overall a cute place.

Great B&B hotel is located off a beautiful piazza near the opera house. The only problem is it is in an area not accessible by car. Our GPS could not lead us to the correct location so I asked a taxi to lead us to the hotel & we followed in our rented car.
Once there, one of the staff came out & explained we were parked in a no car area in front of the B&B and accompanied us to a nearby private parking lot run by Habitat which is very close I safe.
After checking in, the staff member took us to our room. It was on the top floor with a small balcony overlooking the piazza with postcard quality views or the opera house & walkway below. The big room had beautiful tile floors, king sized bed, modern bathroom & fixtures. The breakfast had a wide selection of fruit, pastries, cheeses & cold cuts. The coffee was made to order.
The location was perfect for us to walk all over Catania to see the sites.
I would highly recommend staying at Habitat, but if driving there, call when close by to go directly to the parking location which has a separate fee.

Habitat was. Dry pleasant however, based on the price we would have expected a little more comfort items. A kettle with tea/coffee in the room would have been welcome.
For a hotel hosting many international travellers the tv offered Italian channels only.
