AC Hotel by Marriott Penang

A standard Marriott hotel, clean, modern and good services. Close to the airport so convenient for catching up the early flight next morning.

Nice hotel right in the airport. Well sound proofed, could hear no planes. Buffet dinner was exceptional. Definitely stay here again.

The hotel smelled and there were small flying insects

Location of the hotel is what I like the most. Located not far from shopping mall, walking distance to good eating restaurants and short distance to Penang international airport.

We were only here for one night enroute to the nearby airport. Nice breakfast buffet and helpful staff.

We checked in at midnight after driving 8 hours from southern Malaysia, we were tired and appreciated the quick check in and friendly staff. Concierge man was quick and so nice! Breakfasts were good with nice variety of east and western cultures. Sidewalk restaurants were yummy for dinner and nearby. Reasonable price for laundry service by hotel that was expedited and delivered to room same day. Stayed here because close to Penang airport.

AC hotel by Marriot Penang review We booked a one night stay at the 2 bedroom suite. There was no lift from the basement carpark to the hotel lobby. We had to drive up to lobby to take out our luggage, and go back down again to park our car. The suite was located at another building wing. From the lobby, had to take the lift to 2nd floor, walked to the other building, go through a very narrow eerie walkway to the lift and go up to our room. The old suite building wing was vastly different from the modern hotel wing. The room suite itself was quite rundown. Furniture was old. No shower screen in the common toilet. The room overlooked a golf course which was nice. 2 min drive to Komplex Bukit Jambul which has Mydin and some eateries, and about 10 min drive to airport

Nice hotel with a good variety of buffet breakfast. The hotel provided a shuttle van to the nearest shopping mall Quensbay Mall with decided time.

The hotel is nice, the rooms are clean, and the front desk staff are very welcoming. The hotel breakfast is so-so, not many choices. The hotel is close to the airport. But there are no good restaurants around.
