The Latit Hotel Querétaro

OK I have a very mixed bag review about this hotel. First, the good things, 1. The room was absolutely huge (2 stories, think full apartment). 2. The price was very reasonable. 3. It was only about a 15 minute ride from the airport, and they had lots of free parking on site (even though I didn't utilize it. Because I took a taxi). 4. The AC worked well and they provided bottled water in the room. Now the bad things, 1. it felt very much like it had been abandoned for several years and then someone just opened it back up. 2. It was very much in need of updating and even though things looked clean at 1st, it wasn't great. 3.the restaurant that was supposed to be open until 6 PM was abandoned and empty at 4 PM (although I could still walk inside and walk around there was just nobody in there. Lights were on music was playing, it was weird) 4. the pool, the pool while completely filled, looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a very long time The staff was friendly and helpful for the most part, but honestly the hotel was in serious need of updates. All of the pictures showing the property look like they had been taken a while ago.

Okay, so we arrived at about 9:30 p.m., via taxi. Taxi entered dark courtyard. No clear signage indicating an 'office' for check-in. Finally located 'office': two men we saw through a window. Each sitting at separate desks. Used google translate communicate with one of them. Other one had no interest. Shown to room. Not a single glass (plastic, styrofoam, or glass) in the place. No ice. No MENTION of glasses or ice. The place was BARE, other than bed and basic furniture. Walked back across courtyard to 'office' and inquired. 20 minutes later he showed up with two very small paper cups. If you need ONLY a BED to sleep in, this is the place. Otherwise very overpriced and lacking in ANYTHING other than essentials.

We spent the night prior to departure from Querétaro airport. It was convenient to the airport, however, rooms lacked adequate heating during the winter. We were cold all night long shivering under the sheets. It was very undesirable. Slept one hour that night.

It reported on Hotels.. that there was a shuttle and there wasn't. They had to call a cab and we had to stress out until it arrived. Even though the cab was on time it was still the stress of waiting. Also, the hotel is not close to any city or town and not close to any amenities. I would not go back.

The room was full of flies. There was no shuttle service to the airport. No temperature control for air conditioning. It was either too cold or too warm. Next time ill stay somewhere else

We chose this property for our last night in Queretaro due to its proximity to the airport. We were pleasantly surprised with the property and the staff. The room is like a townhouse with a bed on each floor. The room was very clean and well decorated. It was a perfect room for our early morning (3 a.m.) wake up call! Would highly recommend for ensuring that you avoid the city traffic as you head out to the airport!

Big rooms, great location for a night sleep while travelling through the highway

My room was near the front of the hotel. I was surprised to find a long flight of stairs behind the door which were necessary to climb, with my luggage, before reaching the room door. This would not be a good situation for an older or less fit person. The highway noise was significant throughout the night. I won’t stay here again.

I do not understand how there are any positive reviews of this hotel. It is dirty, dingy, and run down. This place is located in an industrial park and steps from one of the busiest highways in all of MX, and the entire place smells of sulfur and diesel. When we arrived at 6pm, we were given a room that had someone else's belongings in the closet. We asked for another room and after nearly an hour of waiting, we decided that we did not feel comfortable staying there and booked another room in Queretaro proper. We did not understand why it would take so long to get another room, since the entire time we did not see one other guest on the property. If you are picking this place for proximity to QRO for an early morning flight, do yourself a favor and stay somewhere downtown and wake up 15 minutes earlier.

We stayed at this hotel for a night. It’s like 20min from airport. Taxis from and to airport was $350 pesos in 2024. Uber didn’t work. The hotel called the taxi for us. The towels are literally coming apart. And the bed sheets are so worn out and didnt have a good smell.
