Porto In Hotel

My partner and I stayed at the Porto In for 1 night. Staff was very pleasant, rooms are air conditioned and quite big. Bed was comfortable and walk in shower was powerful. The hotel was easy to find and it’s also very conveniently located near the old town in Kotor. There were a few negatives during our stay: * There was no toilet roll available upon arrival, the receptionist provided small sheets of toilet paper instead. * Rooms are a little out dated and the carpet had a lot of stains. * We stayed in a room at the front of the hotel facing the main road and the windows are not sound proof. So if you are a light sleeper, I would suggest that you request a room at the back of the hotel, hopefully this would minimise the noise. * Breakfast - receptionist stated upon check in and on the documents she provided, breakfast started at 7am. We showed up for breakfast at 7am and was told breakfast started at 7:30am (confused). * On street parking near the hotel is very tight, if you are not a confident driver this might be an issue. There was a-lot of traffic on this road.

Maybe we were stingy on a 4 as it was very nearly a 5. You couldn't fault the staff and customer service. I contacted the hotel before our stay and they arranged a taxi for us which was great. They were helpful with our request for a kettle and milk as we really wanted a cup of tea in our room. The whole hotel was clean and in good condition. It was located in a great position for easily walking into the old town for boat trips and dinner. Our room was at the front and the view from balcony was lovely of the mountain. Breakfast yummy. Good choice of items. Only downside was aircon didn't work properly but to be fair the reception staff were only too pleased to keep turning it on and off for us but we didn't like keep asking. I did bang my head a couple of times on the sloping roof by the bed too. Ouch. Bathroom and shower were lovely. Great stay, would recommend and would stay again if we ever went back to Montenegro.
