Hilton Tangier Al Houara Resort & Spa

I have had a poor guest experience in Hilton due to some scams such as we got told that there was a heated swimming pool but there was not. they told us there were no rooms next to each other. they wanted more money. we threatened to give a bad review and miraculously they had a room next to each other. they wanted 1000 euros deposit for a mini bar which did not exist. I did have some fun such as the parking attendant made me happy and on the beach near by there were quad bikes also the beach was beautiful. I also had fun doing the bungee jumping and additional activities. The pool was really dirty and room service clean the room with a dirty mop the bathroom and bedroom had spiders in it . The bathroom had a leaking hand bidet . Room service were slow but they were friendly ,welcoming as well there beds were comfy and there pillows .In the room they had a telephone but the button was stuck so I told room service to change it and air conditioning was good, the rooms were at a good size . I had a nice experience in there spa it was hot and relaxing they had a sauna and they had a jacuzzi and a hammam.

A great experience!! Super friendly welcome at the reception, an upgrade with a stunning view and since we had an early flight to catch a takeaway breakfast ready at the reception. Golf facilities looked great although I must admit we only visited the driving range. Overall very satisfied with the hotel, its services and friendly staff.

A beautifful property totally understaffed. Far away from the city, it supposedly offers a free shuttle but it only runs at 10 am which is pretty early any other time is with a cost 350 vs 75-120 which is the cost of a taxi cab unavailable in the property, so you are stuck and obliged to use their expensive service. The beautiful property has very little maintenance I believe due to a staffing problem, curtains with holes and broken doors, very disappointing. It took us 40 minutes to get a waiter by the poolside, and additional 30 minutes to get our drinks and bites. Overall I would not recommend this hotel if you want to relax and have a good time. The DJ is so bad there is absolutely no one around at night, at least during the 3 summer nights we were there. Rooms are comfortable and have nice views, and the property is beautiful. I have pictures to show maintenance deficiencies but the app is not letting me upload them.
