Always enjoy my stay at Copthorne, Palmerston North. Clean spacious rooms with free secure parking. Available for late check-in during business trips away.

This hotel is well located and has free parking on site and free internet. The foyer, restaurant area, hallway and our room were very clean. The room was modern and simple and everything was in good order. We experienced a low level of noise from the floor above throughout the night which sounded like a generator. Staff were courteous and professional. This hotel does not have air conditioning.

I booked a room which I thought by the room description would be within the actual hotel but I was told to go outside and walk to a single story motel style “hut”. There my room was, windows were all unlocked and it just felt very unsafe. They did not care that I was travelling solo or anything at reception when I asked if I could have a room inside the hotel. Very disappointing and not clear at all in the booking page that this room would be outside.
