Radisson RED Hotel, Oslo Airport

Nice modern and stylish Airport Hotel, in walking distance to the terminal. Comfortable beds and friendly reception. Only bad thing was that the drainage was blocked from the shower, so the water could not drain. All the rest was fine.

This is the second time I stay at Radisson RED. The hotel is comfortable, clean, quiet, affordable, and convenient (only a 5 minute walk from the airport). There is a small gym available and a restaurant that is open until late. It is a modern hotel with a nice design, staff are polite and helpful. I only have one remark to make, and that is the restaurant is very expensive and does not do a very good job at catering for people with allergies. To make the hotel more inclusive, please add some more gluten-free options, and have some lower cost dishes on offer (for example, salads). Until then, I will probably buy food from elsewhere in to the hotel. Overall, Radisson RED is a high quality, quiet and clean hotel, and it will continue to be my hotel of choice before travelling from Oslo airport.

I wanted to have a coke in my room. Since I had an early morning flight and I wanted the check out to go smoothly with no problems about paying for things from the minibar. I went to the lobby and paid for the drink. When I got back to the room I discovered the Coke needed an opener. I don’t think I’ve seen a bottled Coke without a twist off cap in this century. I tried multiple times dialing 9 only to get a busy signal. I went back down to the lobby and had to stand in line behind 6 people checking in. The young man helping me opening every drawer in sight and finally found an opener. Why couldn’t the person I paid for the Coke given me the opener? I found the whole process inefficient and frustrating.

Loved the hotel and how close it was to the airport but other than that theres nothing else close by to visit or eat.

Our stay was comfortable. Though directly next to the airport very quiet. Nice to look out onto a plant-filled landscape. Only negative issue was that during check-in my information was mixed with another person's information.

Last day of vacation, great place to catch up on sleep before flight. Breakfast buffet was huge and delicious.
