Food excellent, room very varm, difficult to sleep. Free parking.

We had a room in full sun that was like a sauna as not many hotels on Norway have ac. We were moved very efficiently by reception to a lovely inside room that was spacious and cooler. We had a delicious meal in the restaurant, the starters are huge and was plenty, then the most amazing breakfast for Norway’s national holiday. The buffet was vast. This is a perfect hotel for the airport or road trip and is better than staying in Trondheim.

Excellent service, reception well staffed 24/7. Very comfortable beds and pillows (and I'm a harsh critic on that point...). Lots of free parking just outside. Good standard of breakfast with big selection. A lot of value for the price at this place. Everything just worked smoothly- as you want when travelling with small kids...

Great location for us on the way north. Had dinner as we arrived. Great steak with local beer. Slept great (including baby) and breakfast was super great, as always the morning after. Om my view its the best breakfast I ever seen, including my travelt to many star resorts all over. I think they have hit the sweetspot accomodating for everyones tase, great staff and a great selection for all, including allergy/intolerance customers which I appreciate a lot.

Excellent hotel and only a 5 minute walk from the airport so don't get a taxi. The hotel is modern and very clean with superb convention facilities. The food is amazing with so much choice you will not leave hungry. Will definitely stay again.

Excellent location for the airport. The Buffet dinner is excellent and great choices at a good price. The fact they provide a free light breakfast from 4 am was also a nice touch.

After our 9hr (scheduled) train trip turned into an 14hr adventure which involved a 3hr bus ride, where in which I was able to advise the hotel of our late arrival- we arrived to the hotel at approximately 0330 on the day of checkout (missing the check-in day by 3.5hrs)- only to be directed to the wrong direction for the room (the wrong wing of the hotel). We returned to the front desk and were redirected to the "other wing" of the hotel, to walk into a room in which the heating had been turned on to full blast. We remember the scale saying 26C (78.8F)- NOT WHAT YOU WANT TO WALK INTO AFTER JUST WANTING TO GO TO BED & HAVING ALREADY BEEN LED ASTRAY TO THE WRONG WING OF THE HOTEL LOOKING FOR YOUR ROOM. In the morning, after an admittedly delicious breakfast buffet, we found out that we had been placed on the side of the building in which the sun would rise, thereby heating up the room because there is no airconditioning available. After already have been told that a late checkout was "simply not possible without charge", we went to the air conditioned lobby with our pillows to get some of the best sleep of the morning. ONLY TO BE WOKEN UP BY STAFF SUGGESTING THAT WE SHOULD SLEEP IN OUR ROOM. We refused and checked out shortly thereafter. Stay at the Radisson BLU next to the train station and airport.

It’s very convenient if you are traveling by plane... very close to the airport.
