Crowne Plaza Panama Airport, an IHG Hotel

They offer free shuttle, we waited 10 min in the airport shuttle marked area and it was wrong so the shuttle left us! Then got to The hotel in a Uber which I paid $10 for a 2 min ride and check in to find the rooms are a bit dirty it smells musty the humidity is terrible and you can hear the plains departures at 4 in am. The only good thing is location the rest is not worth the money

(+) Quick checking. Lean room. Airport transfer bus. (-) High humidity in the room. Noisy AC of the 80‘s. Breakfast was expected to be better, but the view if moldy musli ruined any good impression of breakfast.

Friendly enough at reception and check-in but no explanation of where the lifts and dining areas were located. Two towels in the room despite us being a family of four who booked a family room and checked in. Called reception desk from the room to request two more towels and was promised they would be brought up but towels never arrived. Terrible food for dinner - little black flies hovering over the salad bar. My daughter ordered spaghetti bolognaise but found it inedible especially after finding a long hair in her 3rd mouthful. No waiting staff came to check on us during the meal despite the restaurant being quiet that evening. I explained when our plates were finally cleared, the manager was sent over but I was still charged full price for that meal and not offered anything or even an apology. No shampoo in shower - again no apology when I mentioned it or any attempt to sort the issue out. Room was basic and clean. As it’s close to the airport, this hotel has a captive market and seems to not care too much about customer service unlike everywhere else we stayed at in Panama.

Excellent hotel near the airport but quiet in the room and surroundings. The room was of comfortable size, the bedding nice and clean, King size that felt very comfy, the bathroom was roomy with good towels and toiletries. Coffee maker excellent, TV is about 42 inches. Need to clean outside windows. Breakfast is worthy, great selection of warm and cold choices. Bar is good, overall all personnel was friendly and respectful besides helpful. Definitely when in Panama will be back. Thank you.

Closed to the airport and very convenient

The proximity to the airport was a plus, as was the airport shuttle. However the room was in need of updating. None of the bedside outlets worked. The linens were cheap.

Good hotel, a shuttle to and from the airport is a big plus. The rooms are not so modern though.

The bedding was done poorly. The bottom sheet did not cover the mattress cover and the blanket was below the top sheet. The dinner (Ceasar pillow wrap with fries) was excellent. The airline held our bags overnight for our over night layover so we had nothing. The staff was very helpful with meeting all of our needs.

Safe close to airport and they accommodated a late check in
