Great spot for easy access to airport, a bit further to downtown but taxis east to get. A lots of shopping and banking/money exchange options nearby. Staff are wonderful and will help you learn more about the local area and language if you ask.

I stayed there 16 days while teaching in Kigali. I chose this hotel because when traveling with my associate. We needed two beds and this was the only hotel in the area that showed two on its website. I should have done more checking. The Air conditioner blows either ice cold or tropical warm. There is no in between. The bed is not bad but only option for covers were single sheet or heavy comforter. Some days the water heater worked, some days it was a water warmer. The key continually failed to work snd staff kept saying I didn’t know how to use the key and argued with me when I wanted a new key. The tv only has 12 channels. 4 of those are non-stop football. Why would anybody want to watch the olympics? Room service not bad. Breakfast not bad but they only get in new pastry a few days a week. They do have a business center but the staff do not want to open it for you to use. Instead, give them your wifi name and password and they’ll print it for you. The staff was very helpful when I needed it. One of their staff walked me a half-mile through the streets of Kigali to the bank and waited for me to walk me back. There is security at the front entrance with a scanner and metal detector but when they ask you to submit, if you ignore them they do not insist.
I wish now that I has stayed at Chez Lando (half mile away) instead. I will next year

Near the airport and perfect for quarantine! Comfortable beds, spacious room, computer abd Tv in room. Huge menu for ordering food 24 hours a day. Martin was superb at communication. Our only complaint was the morning desk clerk abd getting our results from covid test. Do it yourself!! Don’t wait for hotel staff. Just go online and check yourself.

Our stay at Grand Legacy Hotel was amazing. We enjoyed the warmth and love from the moment we stepped in till we left, it felt like home. The special love and flower dressing of the bed to welcome us for our 14 year anniversary was unforgettable plus the special anniversary cake given to us as a surprise package. We were very happy and will be glad to recommend other travellers to the hotel. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

The staff was very welcoming and helpful. A fruit basket arrived early evening - a pleasant surprise. A shuttle to the airport was great. The pool restaurant custom made lunch for us!

I stayed here during an overnight layover. This hotel is very comfortable, and the staff members are kind and welcoming. The room was very comfortable, with high quality bedding that was perfect for a nice night's rest. The bathroom amenities were generous, and breakfast, that was included in the room price was copious and generous. The hotel shuttle was convenient and the driver was very timely - already in place even though my flight arrived a little early. A very nice stay!

Decent option near KGL airport. Restaurant was a poor value with very slow service.
Room was comfortable, mostly clean. Quick and efficient airport transfer, so I will stay here again!

I’m not in the business of writing bad reviews, but this was not a good stay for me. Remember, for context, this is a luxury hotel near the airport. First, there was a very loud band playing on or near the property. It was a Friday night, but that’s still not ideal for an airport hotel. Band played past 11 PM. The power went out in my room TWICE. The first time, I politely called to have it fixed and also asked to have a room change given the power/band. The power was restored quickly, fine. I waited for a room change. They finally called about two hours later, offering a different room. I declined, which I admit was my fault, but two hours after a complaint is lodged to offer a different room? I finally go to bed, but the power is out AGAIN when I wake up (luckily, a battery powered phone alarm saved me from missing my flight). I call down to the front desk at 5:30 AM to come fix the power again. No answer from them. I am now showering and packing in the dark. That’s a terrible stay at ANY hotel, but it’s very, very bad at a luxury hotel catering to business travelers near the airport. I will not stay again.
