The Morgan Resort Spa Village

Property was very close to airport, and also walkable to beaches, dining, nightlife and restaurants. Property was kept cleaned and well manicured. The staff was very friendly during check-in but and were also pleasant throughout the facility for the most part! I had a good overall stay!

July 2024 visit. I loved The Morgan Resort. The staff are absolutely amazing. My interaction with so many and how safe they made me feel and the extras the provided for my safety as a solo traveler made it an amazing experience. Definately recommend and will stay again. Night manager (female) is a life saver. Loved Daniel, Alia, Ben, Winston, Carlos

This property is over rated! The staff at the front desk is slightly rude. The restaurant Salt had the worst service and the food was overpriced and disgusting. I couldn’t believe they charged me for 2 glasses of water…and the food wasn’t good at all ! They need to do a better job of cleaning the bathroom in the room and the design of the bathroom shower is extremely poor, it had no door and water would get all over the bathroom floor when you take a shower. While you can see the beach from the hotel you have to walk a narrow road outside the hotel with incoming and outgoing traffic to get to the beach which is like a 8 minute walk which I wasn’t too happy about. The staff there just always seemed like we were bothering them when we asked for something. Our server in Salt took the cake though, she was super rude! We ate there one night and never went back again. The hotel is nice looking but I saw many defects that could be better! They also control the air after a certain time at night they restrict the air from being on, like seriously ! A few tips for anyone planning to stay here: be ready to walk to get to the beach, don’t eat at The Morgan go find a restaurant further down the strip or around the corner it’s lots of restaurants around the corner. Rent a car, because the cabs will get costly, and don’t book your excursions through the hotel go to Viator website instead. I did like the free shuttle that picked us up and dropped us off at the airport. That’s about it!

This resort was close to the airport and dining options. You can watch the planes land and takeoff. There’s a restaurant in the resort or plenty of options within walking distance. They offer free airport pickup and drop off. Most of the staff was friendly besides one of the waitresses that works by the pool. She always seemed to ignore us when trying to order food/drinks.

The property was very nice but lacked amenities I would expect from a resort. The pool view was spectacular. Maybe since my visit was during a down season the normal entertainment was unavailable. It would be helpful for visitors if the shuttle service would simply take visitors to the Maho area at night because it’s too dark to walk to at night.

I did a solo trip to St Maarten and stayed at The Morgan. I felt safe my entire trip. The staff was pleasant during my stay. Staff welcomes you with rum punch upon arrival! I stayed in room 412, which had one of the most beautiful views of the infinity pool and the ocean. The pool is gorgeous! Nice to take a dip or lay out on a lounger and sip a nice tropical drink from the bar! The Morgan is right next to Maho Beach where you can see the planes arriving at SXM airport. The food was good. I had 4 meals at The Morgan. I mostly ate outside of the resort. There are plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance. Also, lots of nice restaurants throughout both sides of the island, but you will need to take a taxi, which the front desk can schedule taxis for you. The resort was quiet, besides one night there was a rowdy guest on my floor who was yelling out of his room door for more alcohol. I believe staff resolved the issue quickly. Other than that, my experience at The Morgan was amazing!! I will be back!

The Morgan was a great property. The service at the pool was awesome, the drinks were great & enjoyed the food. I had no issues with are room. It’s located across from airport with beautiful views. It doesn’t have beach access but Maho beach is a 5 minute walk .

Absolutely love this hotel. Trendy, great vibe, the most gorgeous pool. Right next to Maho beach where you watch the planes fly in and the water is the bluest and prettiest on the entire island.
