Bird Rock Beach Hotel

Having booked a studio (room kitchenette), my wife and I stayed there 4 nights in January 2024. And we were indeed very pleased with the large space we got : apart from the bed and full bathroom w.bathtub, we enjoyed a nice living space (sofa, table w. 2-4 chairs), a ''computer counter'' and a large closet, plus a fairly large balcony looking at the Caribbean See, as well as access to the swimming pool. And it's very affordable ! Every time my wife and I had need for something (laundry, iron, kitchenware, etc.), the staff would find a solution. Being set just on a rocky waterfront, the Bird Rock Beach Hotel is perfect for snorkelling; and the staff would lend you the gear for free ! The complex also has a bar and small restaurant, and is about 2-3 km from downtown Basseterre, and off the main road. To avoid having to hire a taxi every time, you have to walk 20-30 minutes to reach public transportation (collective buses). But that also keeps the place free of traffic noise. For the price, it's definitely one of the best values in St-Kitts !

Hotel was quiet and close for our business location but very rundown and out dated. AC was not working upon arrival. Got a transfer to a different room however, the bathroom was clogged and overflowing with water when I was taking a bath.

close to town, close to stores and food court, close to running track, clean pool, nice restaurant, dolphin experience, lots of work happening to clean up grounds, friendly and excellent employees that are very willing to help and fix anything for you, snorkelling outside of lagoon is quite good as we saw a HUGE spotted eagle ray, hotel is not a 5 star rating or a 5 star price, however it is clean and quiet, no crowds, basically had the place to ourselves as most other guests are students who are at school during the day or professionals there for work assignments. We would return to this location any time. We rented a car and visited all the great snorkelling places. 5 minute drive to and from airport. We loved St. Kitts and this accommodation was perfect for us.
