Åkeshofs Slott

Åkeshofs castle is extremely charming and has a nice park. A plus is the proximity to the subway and parking possibilities. Very spontaneously we booked a room for one night and arrived relatively late. We had already picked up the key and planned to go to bed. Pretty soon we realized that it was very cold in the room. Outside it was minus six degrees Celsius. The reception was closed but there was an "emergency number" to call. The hotel manager who answered was very, very friendly and helpful and guided me to a room with an additional radiator that I borrowed. With the help of this room was significantly warmer. Upon checkout, the staff was so heartbroken. And apologized so much. We accepted, of course, this excuse and we received a small gift and a promise of compensation. I realize that the staff could not affect the heating system broke down. Finally, the staff handled our stay at a very, very professional manner. I have no problem at all to book additional nights at this hotel.
