Crowne Plaza Geneva, an IHG Hotel

Polite, attentive, responsive and kind staff. Comfortable and very clean room and bathroom. Superb breakfast. Free shuttle to and from airport was very welcome. Hotel is well located. Will be my go-to place in Geneva.

Very close to the airport and car rental center

We planned to spend about 36 hours in Geneva in a gap between two halves of our European vacation. Since our departure from the Geneva airport was going to be a very early one, we opted for a hotel near the airport. The Crowne Plaza was a nearly perfect choice. It is a short, free shuttle ride from the airport itself, and a 10-minute stroll through a pleasant residential neighborhood gets you to an easy-to-use tram to the Geneva lakefront. We had assumed we would have to take the less frequent and more expensive train from the airport to the main Geneva train station and hoof it from there, but that was completely unnecessary. Our room was spacious and well-appointed -- certainly no complaints on that front -- and the reception staff was friendly and efficient. It never occurred to me in booking that an airport hotel would prove such a convenient launching pad for visiting Geneva, but the Crowne Plaza definitely did. The one thing that we had hoped was that we would be able to walk from the airport to the hotel, but the highways around the airport make that impossible -- the shuttle is a must. Happily, it ran frequently and efficiently.

Shuttle bus from airport is short drive, and every 15 min ish. We arrived, early evening , and waited around 15 min in line to check in, wish there were more staff at counters for quicker service. We had help from staff with our luggage to room, plus a fine baby bed in the room upon arrival. We really appreciated the breakfast buffet, plenty fresh and warm dishes, like smoked salmon, fresh lettuce, cucumber, cottage cheese, and hot egg and bacon, sausage ect. Even had an omelette station for creating your own omelette. Automatic coffee machine had great fresh bean coffee. Staff was friendly all around. The room was a standard room, very clean, and had large Darkening curtains. A small empty fridge, wasn't really cold. Check out was quick.

Very convenient it is about 5 minutes drive to Geneva Airport if you have a car but their parking fee in their underground space is high at $24 per day for their hotel guest. Breakfast is great but the price is at 30 Swiss francs for each hotel guest if you reserve it when you check-in otherwise in am it will be 35 Swiss franch.

An amazing hotel with wonderful food and friendly staff. Really close to the airport but with great transportation access to the Geneva center. The breakfast is delicious and the hotel menu was to die for.

Very good transaction to airport. Clean. Safe. Good restaurant.

Stayed only for 1 night but staff was very friendly and helpful. Airport shuttle was accommodating and convenient; but, caution: shuttle runs only between 4:40am - 11:45pm.

Great location to the airport with shuttle pick up and drop off. Staff were friendly and helpful.
