Zanzibar Beach Resort

We were a bit sceptical about the resort at first due to previous reviews. However it was a great 10 day stay for us. The food was lovely, couldn’t get enough of the prawns. The room with the sea view was amazing. The staff were great, thank you Maria you made our stay very comfortable. If you need some where close to the airport and 5min away from Stone town then I recommend Zanzibar beach resort.

We were upgraded to a lovely room by the huge pool, ably managed by Richard, the recreation manager who is an excellent , friendly person. All staff were really nice. It is a short and cheap taxi ride either to Stonetown or the airport and a good place tor relax after your safari. Thanks to GM Rajesh Roy for his kind assistance. The Zanzibar Beach resort is a beautiful resort near the airport. The grounds and the pool are beautiful and the room is very nice. The balcony overlooking the ocean was especially nice. My room was having issues with the AC and the mattress was old and uncomfortable but my stay was too short for me to try and address those problems before I checked out. I can’t speak for the condition of any other room, but the staff were very friendly and helpful throughout my stay so I’m sure they would have addressed my issues if I had raised them. If you are looking for a mid price quiet beautiful hotel near the airport, this would be a good choice.
