Krabi SeaBass Hotel

Great stay- walking distance to the night market which was amazing and is expensive to get to when you stay in town. The staff was extremely helpful and provided shuttle (for pay) to the ferry- pool was nice and facilities were very clean. Breakfast was delicious

Check in was fast and friendly. Staff very helpful. We checked in around midday and then went out exploring Krabi. The hotel is close to the main area but still 5-10 min's walk. The hotel ordered us a taxi to the airport for day 2 and stored our bags for us as our flight was late evening whilst we explored the area some more. They allowed us to shower before we departed. The room and hotel was clean, modern and fresh looking. There was good car parking space and lobby area. However, the balcony door in our room did not shut properly and had a small gap allowing bugs to enter. There were ant in our room when we arrived but none later so this did not bother us, but they came form the central corridor so could be anywhere. The air conditioning worked but required a long time to cool the room and had no fast setting so we went to sleep hot but woke up in a refreshing room. Our room had a noise like a washing machine in the background, however we were so tired we slept all night, but you could hear it in the morning and evening when we arrived. The shower was modern and nice but the pressure was low, enough to wash but disappointing. The breakfast food was an additional charge, looking at the variety and quality we decided not to have it as there was not a wide selection and at 8 am the trays were 3/4 empty. Finally although we showered and were given towels this was at the pool side with an outdoor shower with no internal area to put clothes only a shelf outside.

The hotel is rather new and with adequate amenities in the room. However be prepared to have families on vacation as room neighbours who could become noisy and uncomfortable sometimes if looking for some rest. Just for EXPEDIA update: The hotel DOES HAVE reception which can be contacted anytime. Another thing is that hotel staff did not reply to our email inquiring from transportation options once at Krabi airport. Their shuttle service (500 THB fee) could be somewhat pricey but if arriving late perhaps it could be and advisable option.
