We were travelling in a group and were looking to book multiple rooms, and this hotel came up rated as "good". The rooms did look dated in the photos, but we could live with dated as long as it was clean. Check-in was a bit strange, not a word of English was spoken and we were also required to provide our parents' names, which is presumably a local requirement for security reasons. In such situations, I recommend going with "Charles and Camilla". Here are my observations: - The floor carpets, bed and mattress appeared to not have been updated since the 1970s/1980s. - The bathroom floor was wet, which is never a good first impression. - The toilet seat was broken and there were remnants from the previous guest on the underside of the toilet seat that definitely shouldn't have been there. - The shower cubicle had a lot of black mould. Toiletries were useless but the water pressure was really good. - The TV was plugged in but had no antenna connection, so that was useful... - There was a kettle in the room but no coffee, tea or even cups. There were sachets of sugar though, which on their own were not particularly useful. - The AC unit dripped water whenever it was turned on. - There is a mosque right across the road from the hotel, so expect to be abruptly woken up for early-morning prayer. - Breakfast is provided but is extremely sad and basic. Overall, lack of hygiene was the main issue. Do not stay here, you'll regret it.
