Overview

The Orocco Pier hotel in Queensferry is a stylish hotel with a fantastic location right on the waterfront, offering stunning views of the Forth Bridges. Guests consistently praise the hotel's friendly and attentive staff, delicious food in the on-site restaurant, and the overall cleanliness and modern design of the rooms. While the rooms themselves may be on the smaller side, the beautiful views and high-quality amenities often outweigh this for guests. However, potential guests should be aware that parking can be challenging, as the hotel doesn't offer dedicated parking and on-street parking is limited. Noise from the street may also be an issue for some rooms.

It was a wonderful stay in a beautiful area. The person at the front desk was so helpful in calling me a taxi at 4am,and I was able to make my flight because of her. The room was nice, the food was delicious, and they had a good selection of scotch

Check in was easy and the hotel is connected to a restaurant. There is a very few street parking spots if you have a car. The hotel was clean, we couldn’t find the lift to get our luggage up so we had to walk it up the stairs. The room was nice, huge bathroom but beds were thin. It was good for our overnight stay. Being close to the airport was a plus.

A lovely hotel with the most amazing views and absolutely lovely Well priced restaurant With delicious food. My Only negatives are the lack of Parking can be a bit of a nightmare and you can hear quite a bit of street noise if you’re in one of the front facing rooms. Next time I would try and arrive a bit earlier for a parking space and book a sea facing room for a little extra money

We lived our stay at this hotel. We opted for the room with the balcony facing the waterfront and the bridges. It was well worth it for the view through the night and morning. We had some drinks and appetizers in the restaurant watching the Eurocup and it was a great time. No onsite parking, but other than that, it was perfect.

Great place to stay the night before a flight. Rooms a little small for doing the final pack, but we managed! Loved the water view.

We were traveling on foot, so it was nice when one of us arrived early she was able to check in and relax before I joined her. Then we dined at the restaurant with nice views of the bridges & firth of forth. Wonderful stay for only one night.

Off-site parking but first come first served. No AC, ice machine, and mini fridge. Beds also in the UK are 2 twins adjoined. It has a cute restaurant down stairs but I would go to Scott’s and Down The Hatch which is about a 5 minute walk.

Beautiful hotel. Stunning decoration, artwork and styling superb. Room small but well equipped..very good shower. The let down was the very uncomfortable bed. Needs a new mattress. If you have a room on the street side of the hotel take ear plugs. Will dull any noise but you will feel the vibration of heavy traffic passing. If you have any mobility issues this hotel is not for you. Rooms set on different levels with stairs. Car parking - none. I was fortunate to find a space at the Rose Lane free car park - short walk. Enjoyable meal but some guests offered a special menu, I wasn't and found out about the specials menu after I had ordered.

Beautiful hotel in a perfect location. Very friendly staff. Great dining options and food choices for gluten free and dairy free were plentiful and tasty. Excellent size room. We did not make use of it but a well stocked fridge in the room with spirits, cold drinks chocolate and snacks. Coffee and teamaking facilities. Beautiful views of the Forth Bridge from the dining room. Free parking close by. Cannot fault. Would happily book again and recommend to others.

Loved the view, staff were attentive. Room clean and efficient. Only note was not knowing bout the lack of taxis in the area. Maybe make guests aware as they check in. The walk to the station is not for the faint hearted.
