Overview

The Glynhill Hotel is a popular choice for travellers to and from Glasgow Airport, frequently praised for its convenient location and helpful staff. Guests appreciate the ample parking, good breakfast, and the presence of a pool and spa. However, some reviews mention the hotel's age and that some rooms require navigating stairs, which may pose a challenge for those with luggage or mobility issues. The restaurant receives mixed reviews, and several guests note that the beds are firm. The hotel also has a bar and function venue which can make the hotel noisy.

“Go to” place when flying from Glasgow Airport. Been going for decades, and so have we!- says it all, not the plushest or the most modern, but nice staff, great parking and super breakfast. Will be back again… and again!

The location was good away from the centre of Glasgow but easy enough to drive in ( cost £12 to park) or taxi as we did (£20 one way) The hotel was clean, small bar area and lift to rooms. We were room 373 on second floor which seemed to be in an annexe was a few mins walk, up and down some steps. The room was lovely, clean and spacious with velux windows. The iron /board was unusable due to coming away from the wall. Phoned reception to ask for a iron and board, had to phone again and a ironing board was brought. Still had tio use the iron attached to the wall. The bed was the most uncomfortable bed I've ever slept in , was hard and lumpy. Was ready to ask to move room the next day but on viewing open rooms that were being cleaned they bed seemed all the same. Breakfast was served past reception down some steps. On offer was porridge, cereal fruit and yoghurt, cooked breakfast. Bread for toasting was a choice of brown or white THIN slices individually wrapped The toaster took an age to work in the end I gave up. Drinks machine for Coffees and hot water for tea. Juices available. The spa/pool area small pool , separate sauna and steam room . Changing facilities clean and adequate. Would I choose to stay here again - not really was left disappointed with the hotel not really a 4* standard that I had expected

We stayed just one night on the last night if our trip. The hotel is convenient to Glasgow airport but the location is quiet and easily accessible. The food was good, the room was clean. Just what we needed for our last night.

We booked here last minute as the place we had been staying in was awful & we left it early! From the minute we went into the Glynhill it was so much bettet! The receptionist was lovely & very helpful! Food was lovely - although my son wished there was sausage & chips on the kids menu (he said it wouldve been perfect if there was! There was loads of parking available too. We used the pool yesterday, myself & my autistic 11yr old son. He cant change himself, & understandably ladies dont really want a boy gos age in their changing room. So we had to use the disabled toilet to get ready & to get dressed again which wasnt ideal. The pool itself though was great, shallow end for kids & a bit deeper at the other end. Was good temperature too! All in all we loved it & would definitely stay there again & would also recommend it to others.

Really clean and welcoming. I was only at the hotel for one night because I just needed to catch a flight early the next morning but the property was beautiful and the staff was welcoming. I would definitely recommend and stay here again!

Overnight stay before flying from Glasgow airport. A very good hotel close to Glasgow airport. There was ample parking and we were greeted warmly on arrival. We were allocated a larger family room without having to ask. We didn’t have dinner st the hotel but there are lots of options including a decent bar. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. The only downside was the lack of air con in the room and the configuration of the lights (no bedside lamps). All minor and not an issue.
