Our room was very dated and smelled like food from the former traveller, it was overwhelming. Overall the room was clean, but the hotel needs an upgrade. Front desk staff were polite and fast.

We stayed for a night on a stopover in Burlington and we were traveling with a four month old. The location of the hotel is convenient, parking is ample, and the place has a decent range of amenities (pool, gym, and free breakfast). We had a baby monitor which we could not use because the WiFi was not password protected (a requirement for many baby monitors due to security). Most hotels anticipate this requirement and have alternative WiFi networks with passwords for those who need them. The drip coffee machine had packets of coffee available but no filters and I was too tired and short on available time to wait for them to bring it to our room or for me to go need to pick it up. The shower did not drain properly at all which is one of my pet peeves at a hotel and kind of gross. I have no issue with this not being a five star hotel, I wasn’t expecting that, but I see no reason why these inconveniences should exist and could not be easily fixed.

My husband and I went to up to VT to do a little fishing. The hotel staff let us check in a slightly early. The room was better than expected. Clean it smelled fresh. The shower and bathroom were slightly outdated but the water was nice and hot and never run out! There’s a small kitchenette with stove sink and small full size fridge. When we travel back to this area of VT we will definitely be staying at the Sonesta again.

Very odd place…almost like a condo complex turned into a motel. Picked it since it was close to the airport and had a 6:00 am flight. Room was fine but the outside is pretty beat up. Nothing really bad, but have stayed at other places near by that are much more conventional and up to date. Just a weird vibe Sorry but not likely to go back

The room itself was in awful condition, there wasn’t a spot for me to park, there weren’t clearly marked parking spots, the room above me was very loud all night, there were ants, I couldn’t stay for my whole visit because of how awful it was.

During our visit we were greeted by the manager who stated that staff was not on premises and she was handling the laundry. Breakfast for 2/3 days was late and clearly at a very lower level than that of the third day. Also note that your room is in a separate building and walking to the pool (family travel with kids here) requires going outside. Same with breakfast. So if you like to wear little to the pool, and not change out of your pajamas for breakfast, pick a different place.

We got into the room notice that there is a water bottle half full on the couch, fly dead in the bath tub, tooth floss at the corner of the wall. Went to take shower notice the conditioner bottle is empty. We had a family emergecy to leave the hotel 1 day earlier, hotels.côm told us to talk to receptionist which we did 24 hours before the hotel receptionist said they have no authorization to refund the last day and the manager will be calling us on Tuesday, no one called us, we called today the receptionist told us they can’t process the refund due to the policy, we requested to talk to the manager, the receptionist said I can transfer you but don’t think she is willing to talk to you but I’ll transfer you anyhow, I left a message for the manager and not even a courtesy call to acknowledge that she has received the call. Do not waste your money staying in this hotel, there are so many other nice hotels clean rooms with a great customer service.

We travel a lot for work “construction”. Our standards really aren’t that high. This place was nasty, stained tub, ceilings and counters. There wasn’t even any soap to wash up after a long day at work. I do not recommend.

It’s a very easy place to get to and from with everything around you. Kitchen is convenient to have, room is clean. Quaint place to stay and easy to travel downtown and walk along church street.

Sooo the place is terrible. We checked in that was ok, didn't tell me anything just handed me key cards whatever I was tired. We walk in the suite and we are hit in the face with what at first smelled like urine, but I believe the smell is actually from mold. We stayed for 5 days and tried to be out of the place as much as possible, but here's the main reasons I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy- Every trash can around the facility was always overflowing and surrounded by flys, dirty carpets, no room service for the 5 days we were there, need a wash cloth? You have to return a dirty one to the front desk, aforementioned mold smell - my wife was feeling ill all week and we didn't really think about it till we left, but she only felt better when we were out and after we left. Place needs help.
