Wingate by Wyndham - Greenville-Airport

Had issues with the room. No maintenance on site and had to move rooms right before bedtime before an early flight. Also the pool was small and the pool tile was off or coming offf. No pool umbrellas for shade. No alcohol at indoor market and no bar.

The tub did not drain well while showering. The shower curtain curved rod was not level and curtain would move while showering with shower water splashing on floor. Bed was comfortable. Room was good size. It was nice that they had oatmeal packets in the room as we had to leave for our flight before breakfast time.

Last minute room reservation at 11:30 PM; just needed to sleep for 7 hours. Smooth check in, clean room, quite, and exactly what I needed. No bells and whistles but exactly perfect for a great night's sleep! Bed was comfy, temperature in the room was adjustable AND ACTUALLY worked, and clean- Transportation to GSP airport is available. Great restaurants in moderate walking distance- They also have a breakfast bar in the morning. I did not utilize, but I passed by on my check on, and it looked great and well organized. The gym on property seemed very adequate. This hotel is across from my office, and I live in the county over; thus if I have another late night business outing and need a place to crash to be at work in the morning, I will stay again!

Very clean and rooms were big!! Close to everything! Staff very accommodating. My only complaint are the flight attendants that check in and are rude to the employees here. Seen it several times during our stay.

Very convenient to dining and the airport

I booked this location as an overnight before an early flight. The hotel did not have our reservation and despite the Hotels.com customer service rep speaking with him for 30 minutes he would not honor it. The manager was beyond rude. He was belligerent to the Hotels.com rep and he was uniformly rude to other guests who approached during the hour we stood at the desk hoping to resolve the issue. We eventually asked Hotels.com to cancel the room and find an alternate location close to the airport. During a final required attempt to have the reservation honored the manager relented and we were able to stay. He attempted a lengthy explanation of why he was right and Hotels.com was wrong but I was not interested. We still had to allow a $50 hold on our card for "incidentals" which has still not been refunded. The hotel was very marginally maintained. The bathroom in our room was in poor repair - stained wallpaper, sagging shower rod and a large sign listing the price of each item in the room should we elect to steal them. The capstone was the 1:40am fire alarm. This occurred with no effort on the staff's part to communicate to the cold and sleepy guests huddled in the portico that the non-event was finally over. I think I would opt for sleeping in my car at the rest area before considering this hotel ever again.

This property was quiet, convenient and so comfortable. I stayed to catch an early flight from GSP. The hotel shuttle was on time and the staff were above and beyond courteous and helpful. I would definitely stay again.

Very nice stay - close to the airport

We were literally looking for a place to crash for the night during a longer travel. The room was clean and comfortable and well supplied. The AC in the room was not working properly, but the temperature was comfortable enough that I was able to turn it off and still sleep. Check in and check out was a simple process and the staff was friendly and professional. Overall, our stay was good and the room served it’s purpose. Would recommend this location to anyone traveling in the Greenville area.
