Candlewood Suites Harlingen, an IHG Hotel

After traveling 4hrs and getting checked in, pulled back covers of the bed to find mounds of shaved pubic hairs. Unsafe, unsanitary, and just gross. It’s 11pm at night, and front desk(Talia) was very accommodating in moving me to another room. However the manager I’m duty kept retesting that the room had been cleaned almost insinuating that I planted the hair. I think a refund is in order for at least one night. But I doubt anything will come of this complaint. I have the pictures.

Property was convenient to access and parking was ample. Walls and table surfaces were stained, and found bugs throughout the rooms. A bit of a let down for the price of the suite.

The room I was given had old appliances (which I didn’t ask for), the water pressure when I tried the shower was very low. When I first arrived I had to drive through the parking lot of the hotel in front of the place I was staying at. The exit side doors were kept locked so you could only enter through the front of building. Not a good safety feature. I only stayed one night and not sure if they refunded my $275. The website did an injustice to your website.
