Extended Stay America Suites - Melbourne - West Melbourne

The property was fine for the pricing point. The beds were definitely not comfortable, and they're basically large cots. The shower sprayed everywhere because the curtain didn't fit well or stay in place. There is an abandoned building with graffiti and a mattress right outside of the parking lot. Again, it was okay, but it leaves a lot to be desired.

Just a wonderful place for travelers!

We were moved 3 times trying to get a clean room. The first room had dirt and blobs of mud everywhere; the second room smelled like rotten food and had old onions left in the fridge. The third room was somewhat cleaner but was already occupied with roaches and ants. We were charged $126 for our little white dog’s stay for 2 nights. Sadly, not only did she not mess up ANYTHING in the room… she was dirtier when we checked out than when we checked in. So ridiculous! Clearly, other guests were smoking pot and trashy females hanging around outside the hotel-we saw several mattresses by the parking lot- probably drugs and sexual activity too close to hotel. I was not comfortable walking my dog outside at night. Won’t choose an “Extended Stay” location next time. Lesson learned!

They put me on the 4th floor. The elevators were broken and I had to liug all my luggage up 4 flights of stairs. I'm 70 year old and the clime to rhe 4th floor nearly killed me. I should have been warned of this problem before I booked this room.

We walked in at 1 am for we just drove 7 hours straight picking up a car from south Florida. I had a reservation already put in days before hand. I was beyond tired, the 1st thing the desk clerk says "oh we might not be able to check you in due to an audit going on this late on the computer." I kept respectful cause I'm tired and I just wanted to sleep. Got checked in and she chimes in "oh by the way the elevators are broken and you are on the 3rd floor." I'm thankful I'm not wheelchair bound but I thought that was insanely inexcusable.. logged our luggage up 3 flights. Room 304 right by the stairs. Got into bed around 2 am exhausted but unable to sleep for someone kept going down the stairs and or coming up and the door handle was loud and echoing into our room. I tried to go out and prop the door open, the same snooty receptionist comes up getting frustrated with another couple who was locked out of their room. I was trying to prop the door open with a mop that was sitting in dirty bucket of water by our door. She snapped at me to leave the door alone and to not touch. "You are going to break our mop." Mind you this crabby woman didn't give 2 shts about why I did that or what the issue was. Zero empathy towards her guests or the atmosphere of the establishment. It took everything in me to just go back to my room right by the slamming doors. snooty receptionist why don't you care a bit instead of everyone is here to bother you. 10:20am pounding on the door instead of a call.
