Manuka Park Apartments

We found this property absolutely wonderful for our needs. A senior couple with our own transport. Liked that there was a full very well equipped kitchen and a lovely bathroom with full laundry facilities. Sparkling clean, spacious. My only little dismay was that the lounge was very low, and difficult to get up from. There was a dining table and chairs that made it easier. Beds were very clean and comfortable and the spaciousness of the bedroom enabled us to use the single bed as our "landing space" for excess clothes. There was a mirror sliding wardrobe for hanging, plenty coat hangers, an iron and ironing board, and shelved space for underwear etc. Shower water was nice and hot, plenty of shampoo, conditioner, body wash and hand wash. A hairdryer to die for too. We chose a ground level apartment due to mobility issues. There were several higher apartments that overlooked the pool. Underground secure parking was definitely a bonus. There was a small private outdoor area for relaxation too. We visited in July 2024, the weather was definitely very cool (we are from Brisbane) but if you got a spot in the sun it was lovely and refreshing. Air conditioning was good. The apartment block is very close to the Canberra Attractions, New and Old Parliament House, War Memorial, National Library and Art Gallery. Manuka shops were also very close by. We would thoroughly recommend business. All staff were so polite and attentive. We will go again when we visit family again.

Had everything we needed with free secure parking

David at reception made us feel very welcome, the property was immaculate, we are regular travelers to Canberra and have found our place to stay in the future 😀

We were very disappointed to find we had THREE steep flights of stairs to climb to reach our apartment. We are elderly and had two suitcases. One of which was very heavy. Don't know how we would have coped if it had been raining.

Everything we need is provided. Place is near our dining and supermarket needs. I could have given excellent rating if not for the two flights of stairs needed to reach the apartment assigned to us. I would have preferred to be asked before check in or when they rung me to confirm our booking if we would be happy about the stairs as we have moderately heavy luggage to carry up there. Both my husband I have problems with our mobility. I had an accident which left my toes fractured and since then they were never the same. Climbing stairs are a bit difficult. My husbabd carried both are luggage being the gentleman he is. But he has arthritis in his knees. Staff are friendly, the guy let as check out up to an hour late but we waited for our son outside about 11:15 as the cleaner came, she went away when we told her we're allowed to check out late but we did not want to inconvy her schedule. She was nice too like the guy on check out. Another thing was the cobsty going on, we were not told about it. The workers were talking very loud espy in the morning. I am a light sleeper. But we still had a fairly relaxing time here. Thanks!

Excellent location, close to Manuka Oval and Pool. Loved the nearby shops and dining options. Very clean and comfortable apartment with parking on site.

Another enjoyable stay in comfortable well equipped apartment. Stairs could be a drawback for some but manager Joel and his staff are always happy to help with luggage. Walking distance to Manuka Oval and shopping centre with Coles and good parking.

Apartment is a little dated however comfortable. Some detailed cleaning needed - cobwebs, dirty walls and carpets, over all cleaning was ok. Booked a queen and single bed room however was more like a double and single bed. Nice pool area and even though the parking was included it was a little tight and had limited spaces. Great location, close to shops, park. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would stay again.

Staff could not have been more helpful. Location to cafes and restaurants within walking distance. Apartment was excellent with security parking at no extra cost. Most recommended. Also, the rates were very reasonable.

A very convenient place to stay on the south side of Canberra. Being a few hundred meters from Manuka shops etc was ideal. We were in a second floor apartment, and for older visitors this was not the best having to carry bags etc up two flights of stairs. A rear unit also would be preferable as there was some traffic noise. All staff were friendly and helpful.
