A group of 12 traveled with me from Louisiana thinking all inclusive. Well, unfortunately everything we wanted was limited and no alcoholic drinks we drink (Hennessy, vodka, etc) was included in all inclusive we had to pay $18 a cup for alcoholic beverages we drink. I don’t think it should have been that way. We were under the impression everything was included.

This place is FABULOUS! To anyone who's never been here before you are in for a spectacular experience. when we stepped on the property, It was more than we had ever expected and more. The beaches are phenomenal. Very white sands. The water is gorgeous, clear, and warm. And the pool is immaculate. The Jacuzzi is fabulous late night. They have kayaks and paddle boards available for use. And the food is extraordinary, delicious, so fresh and the chef will accommodate most special requests. Last but not least we have to mention the wonderful staff here at this resort. We were treated like Kings and Queens. I have traveled a lot and have never come across a friendlier, happier, most respectful and helpful staff. Everything and anything we needed was taken care of swiftly and we were always checked up on. We stayed 9 days but never wanted to leave. We are definitely coming back- soon gang, thanks to all of you:

We read a lot of comments about this place. Some good some bad. We have been traveling around the world to different all inclusive places.
If you are looking for a Las Vegas like hotel, this is not the place. If you are looking for a charming, relaxing place with friendly people and great beach and astonishing food pool this this the place!
Amazing beach, superb pool and good rooms.
But the PEOPLE is AMAZING!
From reception to waves restaurant to security people. For sure we will comeback again and again!

We traveled as a family of 13 this was our 2nd year in a row visiting the same exact time there was a difference in the 2 experiences. This trip was all inclusive in the past the mimosas for breakfast was included in the all inclusive package this year we were charged $10 per mimosa. There was no New Year celebration on property this year. TVs at the bar did not work there was no community tv available to enjoy the bar and watch football. We asked management if they would keep the outdoor TV on at the bar to accommodate the people on the property that wanted to watch the football game. We were told no. There is no food available after 9:30. After our first visit we had planned for this to be an annual family vacation after this years experience it will be our last trip.

Nice stay, but would have liked more.
Pros:
Friendly staff
Beautiful views
Beautiful beach, pool, and hot tub
My ac worked.
Bell man often took us to market place
Near market place and offsite restaurants
Cons:
Limited food options. One place for dinner and food wasn’t great
If you order from Waves or the pizza place, expect a long wait time
Nothing much to do after 10pm. Pool closes and not much entertainment
Staff are friendly, but disorganized (was charged twice for a late check out and had to show receipts. Also the person I traveled with was sent to another person’s room at check in.
If you pay for a late check out, your all inclusive won’t be included in the extended amount of time. I found that out after i paid for it
All inclusive doesn’t include mimosas
Also, have cash and card. Most places are cash only, but the resort had both cash only and card only places

I'll start by saying how utterly wonderful the staff at this hotel are. Seriously wonderful. Always helpful, cheerful and on hand to assist with anything. If I could award 6* to them I absolutely would.
We had a couple of issues at the start of our stay, but they were resolved quickly and much to our satisfaction.
The all-inclusive option was great value for money. Initially, we were under the impression that meals were only buffet service, but this changed to a la carte soon after our arrival. I was impressed by the quality of the food and its presentation. Portion sizes were more than ample.
The hotel has plenty of hand sanitising stations (the one at the entrance also has a temperature check) and the rooms are regularly cleaned. At the restaurant, tables are disinfected after each use. At Waves Bar, lunch is served in takeaway containers with single use cutlery.
The hotel rooms themselves are looking a little tired and dated, but they're perfectly inhabitable. It was very, very quiet during our stay, which might have been a combination of the time of year and ongoing travel restrictions. I can imagine the atmosphere there to be fantastic when bustling with visitors.

First, we are in the off season right now so it was pretty empty. However, since the Bahamas in general add 15% service tip anyhow, no staff member really goes the extra mile to provide great customer service. Make sure you book all inclusive and if you are from Florida, call the hotel direct and don’t book via here. Also, even tho my search was for 2 people , one room, my secret price ended up to be for one person only so I paid another $417 for 3 nights to have the second person on All-Inclusive. The Golf course is NOT on side. You have to take a taxi (free) to get to the Golf course. The course is terrible. It’s also not included in your All Inclusive rate since you have to rent a Golf cart and you are not allowed to walk. However, if you use the golf cart with two people, you pay extra. I call that a per person fee and not a Golf cart fee. So if you bring your own clubs, you pay about $80 to play Golf. If you need clubs, you pay over $300 for the day. There is NO driving range. Never has been! Also, there are NO tennis courts to use. Front desk looked me funny and said those have not been here for years. Casino and hotel next door is no longer either. Hurricane Irma left a mess. Rooms are clean and nice. Beach front access is nice and the gym too. Food is ok! Nothing to write home about. I booked it bc if the Golf and tennis so i was pretty disappointed for the price charged for the resort.
