Pelican Point has exceptional staff. The facility is good and the customer service is superb. It’s a 10/10 recommendation for solo travelers, families, and couples.

Only issue was finding a parking spot because hotel guests were competing with bar patrons. Recommend having enough spots reserved for hotel guests only.

We've stayed here many times. Started when it was fairly new through first cosmetic rehab, through hurricane repairs, to the latest refurbishing. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Freeport. I admit the beach is not as important to me as others but the 3 minute water taxi to Taino gets beach goers to one of the loveliest beach in Lucaya. The staff here is wonderful and many have been here the entire 20 years I've been visiting. The only reason I can see that Pelican Bay doesn't have a solid 5 star rating is because many of us Americans don't understand Bahama Time. Their loss!

The Landscaping of the property is breathtaking & everything is well maintained. I believe it's the best place to stay on the island. It's next to the Marketplace & the resort has a Ferry that takes you to Taina Beach for free. Taino Beach is gorgeous, there's a nice restaurant on the beach & there's a fabulous pool with waterfalls, a slide & a Cave Bar you can swim up to from the pool. They also have a DJ. And there's a shallow pool that appears to be a Salt Water Pool. This was my second time back in the last few months. Pelican Bay is a cozy chill resort that I highly recommend for a relaxing vacation. And request a taxi to Banana Bay which is also has an amazing beach & restaurant.

Stayed here for a week. It was fabulous. The room which was actually a suite was super with a very very comfortable bed. The reception staff especially Kimberly and Chelsea were really helpful helping us to get the most out of this very chilled and friendly Island. Really good food in all the local restaurants apart from the flying fish which was expensive and dissapointing. The free ferry across to the other beach was great and the fish that you could see inthe sea was fab including lion fish, parrot fish, grouper, and trumpet fish all whilst enjoying a cocktail…. It was all utterly superb thankyou…

This was a great hotel It was right on the canal. There were 3 restaurants we had easy access to. It was great having access to 3 pools and 1 swim up bar. Everyone was friendly. They had access to a boat shuttle from one side of the canal to the other.

The hotel was great very close to taxi drivers, shops, food and so on...hotel food wasn't the best but plenty of restaurants near by...everyone is friendly some a bit more helpful than others with questions. I would stay there again.

We came off the ferry, poor services from terminal to hotel. Very poor welcome for passengers, and tatty terminal. Once to Lucaya it was much better. Need better entries, better taxis and more attention paid to island access. The ferry does the Bahamas no favors. Cuba will take your tourists soon.

This hotel is right next door to the Dophin Experience, on the main harbor and right next to the Market Place, across the street from the huge Raddison complex so you have everything you could need or want right there. The restaurant is fine and you'll find tons of places to eat in the Market and at the Raddison. It is not on the beach, but has 2 pools and since it is on the marina, you have a good water experience. The laundry room was a huge plus as we'd been traveling for more than a week. We'd go back (only quibble: our coffee maker in the room didn't work, but that was offset by breakfast buffet down the path)
