Many guests appreciate the spacious rooms, some with Nile views, and the availability of amenities such as room service, laundry service, and a spa. Good stay. Room had an amazing balcony with view of the Nile. The staff is friendly and always willing to help. The breakfast boxes you can ask to be prepared in advance for early flights or tour times are incredible.

Great value hotel in a great location - only a short walk to the Luxor Temple, Luxor Museum and Nile River promenade. Our room had a balcony overlooking the Nile and we watched hot air balloons flying over West Bank early one of the mornings. We ordered room service, used laundry service, had drinks at the bar and got a massage. Everything was great! The hotel is a bit outdated but we liked our room with high ceilings. Special shout out to the spa for a great massage experience and to the concierge who organized a private sunset felucca ride for us, highly recommend both! :)

The staff team was amazing! The restaurant and breakfast was perfect and delicious! The view of the Nile river was wonderful! Only think that was unfortunately bad experience was the taxi that we took close to the hotel! We got robbed and got left in an unknown place! It was scary due to the fact that we were from another country and didn't know anything! My recommendation is do not take any taxi in that area!

This property is centrally located between the Luxor, temple and Karnak temple. However, it is completely worn out. The entire facility has been used and abused to the ground as if it was an extremely old rental car that was sold to a taxi company that intern used it until the wheels fell off. That’s pretty get kindly.

The Hotel was very clean. We did not feel uncomfortable with the cleanliness at any time. The rooms are dated, but still in very good condition and well-maintained. The pool is great and a big selling feature for this hotel. One of the concierges Wael consistently goes above and beyond, and should be commended for his efforts. By far the best staff member we encountered at this hotel. The location was good and the hotel felt safe. The moment we walked into the hotel, arriving from the airport, before even checking in, a man approached us with pamphlets speaking about the massage services offered at the hotel spa. We politely declined and took his pamphlet and went to check in. Within about an hour of arriving in our room, we get a phone call from this man on our hotel room phone, once again pressuring us to come to the spa for one of the massages. I found this was quite inappropriate to cold-call guests in their room. Over the span of the next four days of our stay, we were approached by this man approximately 10 more times when visiting the lobby and pool area. Every time, there seemed to be some gimmick or discount (but these seemed to change every day). Every time, we politely declined. I found this was very pushy and inappropriate to be taking place within the walls of an established hotel. The breakfast-essentially we were charged 250 each, to later find out the price was 180. Difference refunded but then found out it was actually 150. The restaurant is scamming guests

The Aracan is really a gem in Luxor. Conveniently located next to the Luxor Temple and overlooking the Nile River, its location is great and room is quiet. My room was really spacious, clean and bright - just as I wanted. The check-in receptionist was nice also to upgrade my booking from normal room to a river view room which has a cute balcony. The hotel also was so generous to allow me to check out late and hang around in the lobby until my evening flight. Aracan really is 5 stars, and great great value for money for its price. Hotels staffs and crew were very professional, nice, curious and helpful. Super highly recommended! Suggestion : Request for Non smoking rooms are possible.
