The room was spotlessly clean . Tea etc provided. The meal in the Pub was perfect and the service excellent Having the transport to and from the airport was greatly appreciated. We would recommend the Clayton Hotel to all our friends and family. It was recommended to us by my sister in law Andrea Walker

It was clean, and it was a lot smaller than we are use to. Only complaint is that we had to carry our extremely large bags up a flight of stairs which is very difficult for a woman in her 70’s.

It should be made clear that some rooms do not have air conditioning. The room that I had booked through Hotels.com was very stuffy and did not have air conditioners. The hotel offered to give us a fan, but I upgraded my room for an additional fee. Other than that, the hotel is lovely and clean and the beds are very comfortable. The Italian restaurant on premises is excellent. The hotel is very convenient for early morning flights with their 24-hour airport shuttle.

Not ideal if traveling with children. Parking is a nightmare. No loading/unloading areas to get your luggage out (other than a very small areas designated for taxis only). Shuttle picks up across the parking lot and brings you between terminals 1&2, nowhere close to the airport doors. This is too far to walk with a toddler and lots of luggage. The room was very clean and comfortable, restaurant food was average.

I had an early morning flight at Dublin airport and looked for ‘cheap’ hotels nearby to sleep for a few hours. This turned out to be much nicer than what I expected with 24 hr running airport shuttle and late night room service and very comfortable bed.

The hotel had free shuttle. However, in a pouring storm, the shuttle did not pick up but appeared to return to the hotel. After two calls to front desk, was told the shuttle (10min drive) would return in 20 minutes. 15 minutes later, the shuttle bus arrived and waited for 25 min before returning to hotel. We waited for nearly 50 minutes at after midnight for a 10 min ride.
