Hotel Wing International Hakata Shinkansenguchi

Great location to Hakata Station. We had a late flight and the hotel was able to hold our luggage for five hours after we checked out. Staff was very friendly.

The reception lady that spoke Korean was especially kind! I had a problem in which my credit card was wrongfully charged, after taking a cab ride from the airport. She made a few calls and fixed it for me.

The gentlemen at the front desk was wonderful. He assisted us with information on the airport subway and answered all questions. All of the staff was wonderful. A nice free light breakfast with jam and bread and juice or coffee. There is evena sauna available. The subway is less than a 5 minute walk. Don't believe the reviews which said you can walk there in 15 minutes..at least not with kids or heavy luggage. We enjoyed the beds..they are not soft. After a long day and sore backs, the beds were amazing! Also they have a laundry room..¥200 a load and ¥100 to dry for 30 min. Bring soap or buy up front. Definitely a nice place to stay if you're not going to sit in the room your whole vacation(no view and on smaller side for some)...and many conveniences! We will definitely be back!

Very close to the Hakata JR Station, good security of the entrance and use of elevator, huge tv screen, adorable stylish kettle, comfy bed. They charge an extra 200yen each night as "tax of accomodation". The library in the lobby has excellent art, culture and travel books, If you find time to read them. The breakfast îs only by name. They serve bread, bread and margarine, marmalade in the library - very crowded and uninspired, but probably it's the only available space.
