We checked out on 26 June after a 5-night stay at a premium room with lounge access. After checking out, we went to the lounge for a quick coffee as we would usually do before heading off to the airport. The hotel staff came up to us as we were sipping our coffee, only to tell us that we were not entitled to use the lounge after check-out. They were practically asking us to leave then. That was unpleasant, to say the least. We found the hotel staff to be very rude this way. We stayed 5 nights and the hotel simply was eager to just kick us out immediately after we checked out. We stayed at many hotels in Japan from Hokkaido to Okinawa. None was like this. The hotels usually welcome hotel guests to use their facilities on the check-out day. Even the onsen hotels welcome checked-out guests to use the onsen on the last day after check-out. The practice of the Basics in this aspect falls short of our expectations, and is extremely rude and inhospitable. It leaves us very disappointed with this otherwise nice hotel. A thumbs down for this!

Spacious room and service, hotel is a bit new, coffee machine has problem and they changed us a new one! Also good about thebb BA parking is connected to the hotel.

The service at this hotel is really not up to standard and expectations- 1. Ridiculously late reply to messages: we sent a message to the hotel to help arrange restaurant reservations but there was absolutely no reply for 2 weeks. A reply which did not make much sense at all was received only one day before our flight 2. Ridiculous reason for not providing late check out - we asked for an extension for half an hour until 13:30 and was told they have to clean all the rooms at 13:00 3. Inflexible executive lounge arrangement - we stayed at a room with access to the executive lounge for 5 nights. After being turned down our late check out request we asked to stay at the executive lounge for just 30 minutes to wait for our taxi and we were again turned down 4. Inflexible arrangement at restaurant- the restaurant was open for lunch but they would not serve any drinks if you don’t have lunch there and at the time there wasn’t any customer in the restaurant 5. Incorrect information provided by the receptionist - when asked how we could provide feedback of the service the receptionist just gave a QR code which just directed me to the hotel homepage. When asked where I could provide feedback at the hotel homepage she then admitted that the information she provided was a mistake. We were really disappointed with all these ridiculous and inflexible protocols and it did ruin our originally good impressions of the hotel.

Free parking Room is clean and comfortable

A clean and comfortable hotel from which to explore Fukouka. A short walk from Hakata station and equally short drive to the airport. I sent my luggage over from Tokyo and at check-in they had already left it in my room. I love that there's great ramen and coffee all within a short walk from the hotel. Be sure to check out Fuglen and Hakata Issou

Close to airport and hakata station

Highly recommended. Rooms are ver spacious and it is an approximate five min walk to hakata station where there are malls and lots of eateries. There is a family mart 10 secs away from The hotel and distance to airport by taxi is 10 -15 mins.
