Hotel Lawrence d'Arabie

I stayed one night before a flight to Paris. The room reeked of cigarette smoke. The lighting in the room was completely inadequate to read. The noise produced by other guests in adjoining rooms and of street sounds was easily audible until late at night. I would not choose this hotel again.

We stayed at this hotel for a family holiday. The hotel was close to the airport - only 10 minute drive in a taxi. It is also centrally located within walkable distance to the main attractions. The reception staff (Eshan, Hanan, Hakim and Mohammed) were helpful. A special thanks to Hakim who took care of our needs promptly. He also kindly arranged a taxi for our return journey to the airport. The breakfast was good. The staff at the breakfast area were friendly. A special thanks to Fatima Sara who was taking care of the room service. She provided useful information about the city, its attractions, transport and shopping.

First of all I would really like to mention some names that actually made our trip better by giving the best service and guides, they are Hakim, Hannane, Mustafa, and hamza. There were two more guys that helped outside getting us taxis but forgot their names ! Anyways the breakfast of this hotel is TO DIE FOR ! Their breakfast was served so early and stayed until 10ish which is amazing ! You won’t be disappointed in terms of breakfast ! Overall the service was amazing ! A few bits and bobs but you can’t have it all perfect can you ! The rooms are clean and really big! Just needs more lights ! The hotel is in a very nice area where lots of food places are in walking distance and taxis always are around ! Now I would like to mention one more name but this time it’ gotta be someone I received the worst ever SERVICE ! His name was Hisham and really people like him shouldn’t be serving and working at hotels ! He has a temper when I asked for lamps for my room and said “I am too tired” well I don’t give a damn care coz I just landed and needed some MORE light in my room ! Anyways he was not helpful and unbelievably rude ! Other than having a bad service on the first night, the other colleague Hakim made it better by getting us lamps and changing our room the next day ! So grateful ! Good service staff are what make the best hotel even if it’s uncomfortable staying in, but having a good staff around helps providing good service ! Thank you Hakim and the rest of them
