Le Pietri Urban Hotel

The staff are exceptional in being polite and accommodation. The location is very near the contemporary modern arts museum and 20-dirham taxi ride to the Kasbah. The breakfast was average. We had small black ants marching largely in the bathroom, but they also showed up by the bed and in a glass of water. The staff arranged for a ride to Fez for $1500 Dirham. The car was filthy and the scruffy driver did not have a GPS to find the destination. The review portal rejected my photos.

The staff in the lobby was super friendly and helpful. My flight was early morning and they made sure to get me a cab. It was my first time in Africa and they made everything easier.

This was ok for 1 night. Not sure that we'd go back. The sheets had an incredible bleach smell and the room smelled like disinfectant (even after we aired it out for several hours). I ended up sleeping on the coach in our room with a blanket because the sheets gave me a headache. I was really surprised when the hotel desk clerk chastised me for commenting on the bleach smell and for not coming to them the night before to request a room change. Bear in mind, we are really low key and not fussy travelers. I found this very surprising and my daughter thought he was very rude given the fact that I didn't initiate the conversation and he publicly called me out with his remarks. The breakfast was great and servers were very helpful. The hotel has a terrific location for a budget price. Remember to bring soap and/or shampoo. The bathroom has a soap dispenser on the wall like the kind you find in a public bathroom.
