The Villas at Simpson Bay Beach Resort and Marina

My daughter and I recently spent a couple days here so I'm happy to give a fresh perspective on this property. The resort is about 10 minutes from the airport and is in an area that is walkable to shops, restaurants and such. Check in was quick and breezy and we were on our way in a matter of minutes. We had a small incident with our room but the manager himself, Gipson immediately came over, offered to have all our things moved and treated us to a breakfast at the expense of the hotel which I thought was fantastic customer service. In fact that carried on throughout our entire time there where he gave recommendations, grabbed us extra pool towels and literally called our room to continue to check on us. Who does that!! He needs a raise! Honestly everyone at the Villas was super nice, helpful and always had a smile... well except for the workers outside who hail taxis/transportation... it always seemed like they didn't want to be bothered... but that's something small and doesn't take away from our stay at all. There are a ton of excursions you can sign up for, boat trips to Anguilla/St Barths, restaurants on property and I could go on and on... this was our first time in St Marteen but we'll definitely be back and I'll ONLY be staying here!!

The rooms could use a little updating but our Jr. Suite in the Villas was spacious, clean and comfortable. All the rooms in the Villas are ocean and bay front and most can likely see the mountains so the views are breathtaking. The property was clean, beautiful, big and conveniently located near local venues, as well. The staff was friendly and attentive (special shout out to Kamesha and Sophia at the beach bar). The General Manager, Julius, actually introduced himself at our check in and followed up on our room readiness since we arrived earlier than check in. The resort offers a free shuttle service around the property and even into town (just not over the bridge) so if you don’t or can’t walk it, you can still go where you want/need to go. The concierge desk is helpful. The food was generally good and surprisingly, prices were reasonable considering it was a resort. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back! Thanks to everyone for an enjoyable trip. You work hard to accommodate guests and we appreciate it. To anyone considering a stay, you won’t regret it. Oh, and if you can check out the local spot, Nowhere Special, do. Live music and good vibes amongst tourists and locals!

Great resort that is in a great location. Room was spacious and clean. It has all the amenities you need. All staff was super friendly and helpful. Shakir was fabulous when we were checking in and provided us all the information we needed about the resort and area. We had a minor issue and Gibson took care of it immediately. Several restaurants are in walking distance. Free parking for all guests which made it easy to come and go as needed.

Very roomy accommodations. Loved the balcony. Recommend the prepaid breakfast. Used the shuttle quite a bit.

Optional tours are leaving from their pier. Easy and convenient. Many dining and shopping options within 10 minutes of walk. Also 10 minutes from the airport by car. Good location.

The property was close to various restaurant options. The resort shuttle was extremely helpful. The staff was friendly and attentive.

Excellent customer service . Cafe very convenient. Grounds well kept and clean . Loved the two bedroom suite ! It is great when you are traveling with teenagers who want their own privacy. I will definitely book there again .

Beautiful property not far from airport. The food could be much better. Clean and quick service. Not overcrowded

Liked how close everything was to the resort as well as the free hotel shuttle option.
