Les Suites Taipei Ching Cheng

This hotel is a boutique gem in a brilliant location in Songshan. The service is superb, every request met with a smile, the complimentary breakfast excellent. But what is truly remarkable is their two hour ‘happy hour’ with a rich buffet of food and drink on the house. Just a great place to kick off every evening in an exciting part of an exciting city. Do note the entrance is along a narrow drive and most taxi drives don’t know it’s there and may not easily find their way. Hence aiming for the Mövenpick cafe is a handy landmark Will definitely return.

No parking area, very small

The check-in process was easy and quick. The location is perfect, just a quick walk from the metro station, and only 2 stops from the Song Shan airport and the rest of the cities. The room was clean and very comfortable. The sink is positioned a little awkwardly in the bathroom, but that is the only minor issue I noticed. Overall it was a great hotel and I would definitely stay here again on my next trip

What I like: Safe & quiet little boutique hotel with main entrance facing a wall instead of road, room with good soundproof, jap style toilet seat, ceiling heater in the bathroom, Crabtree & Evelyn Jojoba Oil Shampoo/Conditioner/Shower Gel/Body Lotion, very near Nanjing Fuxing metro station exit 7 with 2 lines, direct line to Ximenting, convenient to take bus to Shilin night market & many places (can use same transport card for metro & bus), abt 10min walk to Taipei Arena to watch concert, right next to Daiso (can grab compression bags for clothings if bought too much & zipper carrier bag to better organize & handcarry pastries home), 7eleven & Family Mart right outside hotel (can order things online from PChome 24h & pickup from this 7eleven branch with small admin fee to 7eleven, need a local mobile number which hotel can provide, takes abt 2 days to arrive). Room for improvement: More selection/menu rotation for breakfast, provide bath salts & disposable scrubbing pad/towel, space to keep luggage opened throughout the stay (suggest give guest a choice to have the rocking chair & foot stool or clear them away to make space to open luggage), too few electrical point for charging devices & the one available at writing table is too close to the wall hard to use universal travel charger (I use my own universal travel charger & can only charge either phones or laptop, cannot do both at same time because of the crammed space & only 1 electrical point available).

The property was beautiful and very conventiently located (just down the street from a major subway station and walking distance (WALKING DISTANCE!!!! Where else in the world can you walk to your hotel from an international airport? It took me about 18 minutes) from Songshan Airport. There were a few minor facilities issues like the shower head being slightly loose and drippy, but otherwise this place was great!

Nice Mercedes limo from the airport to downtown Taipei City. Our late arrival from Denpasar was not an issue for the courteous and efficient desk staff. We were placed in a corner room. Spacious and spotless. Full of amenities and full bar and snacks at reasonable prices. Adding a complimentary breakfast buffet (They could have mentioned that’s it’s in two rooms each with different offerings) and evening cocktails was a nice touch. Nice boutique hotel close to transit and Taipei stadium. Thanks for an enjoyable stay.

The entrance is a bit discreet but still easy to find. First impression is very detailed, guests are well taking care of. Snacks and drinks are provided for free anytime in the living rooms and study room. Staffs are attentive. The only thing is because of my early flight I couldn't try the breakfast. I will definitely make another stay next trip back.
