Beyond Samui

The Novotel Chaweng is very good hotel, just in front of the beach. Have many hotels in the same area, but can confirm Novotel is inside the top 5. The hotel have several good points and others not good. The Hotel is very close to downtown Chaweng and also enough far to have a relax and comfortable staying without hearing the airplanes departure all day like in Chaweng downtown. Hotel provides free ride to Chaweng downtown 3 times a day. Anyway walking distance is only 20 minutes and is comfortable, no need to take taxi or tuk tuk. Family Mart at 3 min walking and 7/11 at 5 min walking. Many pharmacy, many restaurants, massage, exchange money, mini supermarket, tour companies, all inside a 3 min walking range. Samui Hospital at 5 min walking.
