Elits Suits

This is an apartment with all amenities costing extra. Apparently the hotel part is on the other side of the building and has a different name. The check in counter is confusing and has 4 different hotel/apartment names on signs with 4 different cash registers. The pool costs extra and is not included in the room rate. After staying at many hotels this trip, the couch and refrigerator were exciting to have but the missing tea kettle took 2 days to get and the shower ceiling had a huge mold spot and didn't work (luckily there was another shower head lower attached by cord that I could use but it wasn't ideal as I had to hold it above my head). I was pleased at low price and the distance to SAW airport though and it's ultimately the reason I stayed here. The explanation of amenities in the Expedia listing needs to be fixed.

Check-in took about 30minutes. It seems Elit Suites does not linkup to 3rd party reservation websites well so they had difficulty locating and accepting the online reservation. The first room that we were placed in was dirty and smelled of smoke. After complaining, we were placed in a nicer room that smelled good and was cleaner. One of the two towels was damp but everything else was decent. The hotel is a 5min taxi ride to the airport. The ride was about 15lira (inexpensive). There aren’t any shuttles to the airport, from what we found out. The price is VERY difficult to compete with but if smooth, stress-free check in and cleanliness are a must for you then I would not recommend this hotel.
