For à $550 room you get a nice and clean Garden Inn room that should be $250 and the only parking option is valet that add $20. For that price your room is only serviced every other day. We had adjacent room which was not well soundproof and had to call the reception to ask our neighbor to turn TV sound down. Had to request shampoo that was not in the bathroom. Only positive is the staff that responded promptly to our requests.

I travel ALOT. I have paid $500-600 a night for a hotel - but this hotel is NOT worth this money. The valet's are not training. No baggage assistance, the baggage area to secure your bags until check in is the lobby - and when I arrived no one was at the desk - not secure. The room was adequate but nothing special. Really overpriced. Disappointed.

The hotel is very well situated, a few blocks from the downtown core & a few blocks from the lake. It's in an old converted armory, so the layout is a bit odd - you have to walk a LONG way to get to the room elevators, and there's a separate elevator for the pool.
Also, the only option was valet parking, which I found to be quite annoying. The lot was literally out the front door, so it made little sense to have someone else park my car for me.

Evette at the front desk was amazing - so helpful at every turn.
Room was comfortable, gym was nice. Great location
Only downside of our stay was we booked the airport shuttle and the driver never showed up (granted it was 7am but still - it was scheduled the day prior). Still made our flight with booking an Uber but it was the only stress of the stay

The hotel is in a good location and close to the main center. The room was clean and well maintained. However the only parking option is valet parking for which they charge extra. Considering how much they charge for a room they should provide free parking for customers.

Great spot but no free parking - $22 for valet per day. Our room also had a relatively constant rumbling noise coming from below, a broken toilet and construction tape on the showers ceramic seemingly holding it up - probably left over from when it was recently built. Overall did certainly recommend this hotel but don’t be shy to call the front desk if anything’s amiss, they’re great

Supposed better hotel in a good location. I was travelling by train so wanted somewhere near the train station, the choice was limited and all expensive 3 and 4 star hotels.
A good example of worst practice other hotels I have stayed in on this trip have given welcome packs including water, cookies, chips etc if you use the bottled water in your room it's $3 a bottle, breakfast free/included at other hotels $18 here, car parking [I didn't have a car] again extra. This trip I have stayed in 2 star hotels that were just as good, and didn't exploit there customers/guests give me their VFM these supposed better hotels are already charging top prices they don't need to rip people off, it's just greed

Nice hotel but the paid valet parking was a surprise. Street parking was metered and limited so not a good alternative.

The HVAC in our room sounded like a freight train, so we couldn’t sleep. Pretty crazy, especially considering the room cost $392 for the night. To make up for this, they comped our $22 parking and gave us free breakfast…. Which we threw out, it was so disgusting. I can’t believe they have the balls to charge money for that. It’s the kid of breakfast that comes free with any room at Holiday Inn.

Currently undergoing some renovation. We were on 4th floor, work was being done on the floor below and we could definitely hear construction noise. Didn't find out about the $22/day parking fee until we arrived at the property. $25 for two people for breakfast was not out of line, but the variety of breakfast foods was very limited, and what was served was not prepared well.
