Piccadilly Inn Airport

Pretty typical airport hotel. It is very convenient to FAT. Walking distance. Restaurant option at hotel passsble but bar and food service is understaffed.

Long story short, we drove up to Fresno from San Diego on a Friday night. Got caught up in LA traffic and called to make sure they didn't give away our room. Sure enough, when we got there (11:30pm), a family was being told the hotel was overbooked, and would have to stay somewhere else. To their credit, the under-staffed front desk clerks provided accommodations for them elsewhere. When it was our turn to check in, they remembered me and kept my room. Unfortunately, they didn't do the same for my aunt who was traveling with us. Splitting up was not an option, so they offered to provide accommodations for us as well. However, it was for a Motel...which I refuse to stay in. They understood and suddenly "found" two vacant rooms in the hotel, and gave them to us. We drove around to the back of the hotel and parked in a lot open to the street, near where our rooms were. Our rooms were on the second floor (no elevator to my knowledge) and had to carry our luggage up a winding staircase. My aunt was able to get into her room, but our keys didn't work. Instead of giving us new keys, security moved us into another room across the hall. Unfortunately, the TV and phone did not work. My wife went back down and they moved us to the room next door. There, the TV worked, but the phone didn't. We decided to cut our losses and stay put. Full disclosure, the staff did their best, but the hotel is in desperate need of renovations. Their "overbooked" rooms were legitimately Out of Service.

If you need a place to sleep because of airport in area thats all its good for! To mich riff raff in parking lot and no security patrols the area. Very convenient to the airport thats it!

Well I checked asked about shuttle said runs 24/7. Next morning I went to dry my hair hairdryer not working so called front desk at 8:15am said ok. Called again at 8:35 to be told Maintenance comes in at 9am. Mind you I have 10:10am flight. I said find me a room to dry my hair. Called me back to say we have a room asked for key to be delivered no dont have anyone. Run get key dry hair and run to front to get shuttle only to be told driver arrives at 9am. Needless to say I ordered a lyft. I have a ton of reservations in Europe in 3 weeks and all booked with you for 8 ppl 4 rooms I am a little worried to say the least.

We booked the Piccadilly last minute as our other accommodations did not meet our bar of no infestations. The front desk agent was great and very helpful. We will definitely be staying here in the future as we travel to Fresno often.

Old and dated but clean and close to the airport.

The hotel decor looked straight out of 1986 but the service was fantastic, the hotel was clean, the AC worked, and the beds were cool. The airport shuttle in the morning was clutch. If only the pool had been in operation--it looked really nice, too!
