Fairfield Inn & Suites Fort Lauderdale Airport-Cruise Port

Great stay. Convenient to the airport and cruise port.

Across from a Hilton Hotel, airport shuttle is for both. Convenient to make reservation to get to Port Everglades ($20@ cash only). Wendy's and Dunkin Donuts right in front. Breakfast variety good, eggs, sausage, yogurt, bagels, oatmeal, waffles, fruit, toast. Some floors under refurbishment.

Quiet place and convenient to the airport

The front desk was very nice after I had a problem with the first room I checked into which was wet and musty smelling. He quickly changed us to another room. The bed was comfortable. The TV didn’t work at first, but they sent somebody to correct that the shuttle to the airport was great, the gym was also decent. The hallways in the hotel were very hot. The carpeting in the room looked fairly old. For a one night stay it was fine. It was very close to the airport.

I will never book here again. I called a few days prior to ask if the airport shuttle would be able to pick us up if our flight got in around 1:30 am. They said yes and to call when we have out baggage. Fast forward to getting out baggage. I call to ask for the shuttle service and they said they’ll send them out. We wait 30 minutes and still no shuttle. I call back and they say they are very busy which was fine and that they will be making their rounds. Then proceeds to tell us the shuttle we will get on is the Hilton shuttle. We wait another hour. It is 3am. The shuttle finally shows only for the driver to say that we, and another family, cannot get on and that he isn’t coming back. So then after waiting 1.5 hours I get to the hotel via Uber. The room smelled damp, there was hair on the floor and the tv didn’t work in our room. The lobby was dirty as well. I was severely disappointed for the price. The king bed was comfortable - a positive.

Victor was nice and friendly during check in. The shuttle driver that picked me up from the airport was not friendly at all. The lady at checkout was not very personable with me but she was with those checking out after me. Elevator was not working properly, my bathroom was not cleaned properly (hair found in tub), hallway on 3rd floor was extremely hot and humid.

Perfect place to stay for a layover. Very clean and comfortable. Free breakfast and airport shuttle a huge plus.

Easy access to the airport and private parking for your vehicle

The wait to check in was lengthen due systems failures. Staff did their best to cope and apologize. Airport shuttle was convenient and easy to access-air conditioned an attentive driver

Decent hotel close to the airport. Bathtubs could use updating and pull out couches are horrible
