Great Wolf Lodge Bloomington

A great deal for our family of 4 of under $200/nt, less than nearby hotels that couldn't offer the waterpark. That said, I wouldn't pay much more to stay here and advised our local family not to bother paying the daily price for the waterpark. It's very small for the $50-70 entry price tag (day of week drives price). So we opted for attractions at the mall of america when our family came into the city. As expected, everything on the property is pricey and they charge daily for parking. Rooms are dated, not very inviting but with so much going on in the area, it provided a convenient place to sleep. Overall, if the price is right, I highly recommend! Note, this was our first GWL experience so do not have other properties to compare.

I paid the hotel because my kids wanted waterpark. The price is not cheap and I expected that parking lot is included but I had to pay for this. Also I noticed that hotel charged me two significant sums except damage deposit. It costed me time to speak with staff and they ensured me that money will be returned and after few days they returned me not authorized payments but I lost around $20 on currency rate as I'm from Canada. If it didn't happen I would rate this hotel better but this is spoiled my mood, especially wasted time for figuring out

They didn't mentioned that parking is not free. $15 per night. You expect to have a free parking for +$250 per night.

We had a horrible experience with the Great Wolf Lodge Bloomington. We were traveling with two young children (aged 1 and 3) and were severely impacted by airline issues due to the CrowdStrike outage. The Great Wolf Lodge were unhelpful and unwilling to show any kindness towards our miserable situation. We will not be future customers.

My family loved the water park and arcade. I loved the location and that it was within walking distance to Mall of America. I was unpleased with the parking and that a lot of things, like you needed to inform that you would like your room cleaned but what I needed was readily available. Overall nice stay and would book again.

They have started to charge for parking as of recently but I feel that should be advised when checking in and getting the parking sticker. Ended up owing and extra 60 dollars that I was not aware of. The lady at the counter seemed to act like it was not her problem and could of cared less that I was not to happy about a charge I had no idea that I was going to have to pay. It’s really not about the amount of money but it’s more about I feel like it should be advised or informed when checking in and getting the parking sticker there is a daily fee. Now I have to wait approximately 72 hours to have a case handler to speak with me about it since the staff at the counter was less then helpful.

The great wolf lodge was actually a grope place to stay. Clean environment and staff was very friendly. What was upsetting to me is they don’t let you know upfront that you will be charged $100 deposit per night nor do they let you know there is a parking charge of $15 per night. Now I could be wrong on great wolf lodge end because I made it through Expedia but either way someone dropped the ball. But other than that my son and I really enjoyed our stay!

That we had to pay for a parking spot. Also they should include atleast free breakfast with your stay. And to keep the water park open till atleast 10pm.

Up charges, up charges, and more up charges. This was our first visit since the ownership change. I was stunned to learn there was an up charge for the surf pool (Wolf Rider) and other amenities. They now charge $15/vehicle for parking. The on-site fees make for a different stay than what’s expected.

We loved every aspect of this stay! The room was great; clean and everything in working order. The staff was upbeat and very personable. The facilities were very accommodating. The only negative we had was the locker rooms/bathrooms in the pool area. We were traveling with a 1yo and 9yo. It was really challenging to not have a place to sit, facilities to change the baby, or place our dry clothes. While a minor inconvenience in the grand scheme of our travel, it was challenging as we were checked out of the room, so we didn't have the flexibility to go back to our room and change etc. When my wife was in the locker room with our children, many other moms had the same comments about the changing room/shower area being less than ideal. They were however clean, so that was a plus! The only other negative was that the parking lot did not have any lights which was a little worrisome. Overall, though, we were very pleased!
