SpringHill Suites by Marriott Salt Lake City Airport

Taking daughter back for early flight. It is close to airport, and great place to stay. Will book again.

Beds were comfy and great linens and pillows. Property felt like it was kept up nicely. Airport shuttle was very easy to use and they were very responsive to pick up and drop off requests. Overall a great stay.

Paid parking, breakfast is from 7 am to 9 am, no coffee or hot water before breakfast.

A few things about the hotel were disappointing. First is its $10 a day to park in the parking lot which is terrible. Cleaning serve they didn't even clean our room. They made one of the beds, didn't vaccum, or get new towels. The breakfast was very disappointing and is one of the reasons I wouldn't go back. It was was over priced for poor service

I tried to set up shuttle service before we arrived via phone but the customer service agent was not helpful. However, actually using the service was easy and the desk clerk was both pleasant and helpful!

Convenient location, but room was not clean and there were not enough towels. Additionally, we had to pay for the parking which was a surprise to us.

Things we didnt like: We had to pay $20 extra for parking. The pool was extra cold and had green slim on the bottom. There was a starburst wrapper under the pullout bed and hair on the microwave. So clearly the room wasnt cleaned as it should be. What we did like: The breakfast was good, the breakfast lady was nice.

Wanted a one night stay for 5 people for next day flight. Worked out well.

Convenient location for airport staying

Room was clean; bed was super squishy and uncomfortable; airport shuttle service was not available for us at 7 or 7:30 am, to arrive on time for a 9:30am departure, but we were offered a 6:30am shuttle; however, breakfast isn't serviced until 7am so we would have missed breakfast AND been sitting at the airport for 2 hours longer than necessary, so we ended up paying for an Uber. When we arrived at the breakfast area at 7:10am, there was a bus load of foreigners who had wiped out ALL of the breakfast food. Frustrating. I guess my thought is if the hotel knows there is a great need for so many people to travel to the airport at 7 or 7:30am, then why not offer a second shuttle during those times; and if the hotel knows there are so many people checked in, and likely wanting breakfast, there should have been extra food prepared to accommodate that number of guests.
